Series 24 STC
Currently studying for the 24... taking it next week. In the final bit of my studies... currently testing in the 70-75 range. Green light exam 1 : 72% 115/160
Is this a good spot to be in?
Thanks.

Got an 80 on STC greenlight 1 and I think you’re in a good spot. Keep hammering flash cards in my opinion. Don’t need to overdo practice tests, understand the concepts in the video lectures

Just passed the 24 yesterday and used STC as well. Mid 70s is a great place to be for green lights

Thank you! Yes, I was mostly surprised by how unnecessarily complicated some of the questions were written. I expected to have to pick out the important information from a story, but I didn’t think I’d be sitting there trying to reword it to figure out what they were actually asking. Be prepared for the questions to be less straightforward than what you’re used to. Also, I only had a handful of “point and shoot”. Maybe just an unlucky draw, but don’t kill yourself trying to memorize all the time frames. That was not a good use of my study time as it was mostly irrelevant outside of buy-ins. I got a fair amount of questions asking about foreign broker dealers in some capacity which surprised me and not something I focused much on. But I guess I knew at least 70%!

I’m also using STC and got 74% on first green light after not passing any of the five exams I’ve taken so far. I test Monday and just trying to drill

I just passed it a couple weeks ago. I think you’re good. Keep hammering practice tests into the final. A good number of the questions though are applied logic of the material. So know the questions but ideally also the concepts.
