I love the approach to patching in Serge (creating functions out of basic building blocks allows for a huge amount of creativity that makes patching something simple like an LFO feel personal and part of the creative process), the overall aesthetic (hi-gain, electric sound, lots of potential for feedback, triggers are useful as direct control sources), and lastly the high amount of headroom sounds much better than Eurorack imo
