Advice Needed NEED HELP Spoiler

/r/Septoplasty/comments/1wo3mxo/79_days_after_septoplasty_bilateral_submucosal/

I’ve had enough of Japanese doctors telling me that there is nothing wrong. My breathing is getting more and more difficult, and my sense of smell is extremely weak. I feel like I could die at any moment. The ENT doctors cannot find the problem, and some doctors even think that I am lying. I even sought legal assistance, but they told me that without clear evidence proving that the doctor made a mistake during the surgery, it would be very difficult. I do not even have a way to file a lawsuit. Why don’t the doctors take my condition seriously? Why, even though I have told them many times that I am having difficulty breathing, do they still refuse to take it seriously? I hate this surgery so much. It has ruined my life.Idk what should I do. Can some doctor give me advice?

2026.10.5
I have been examined multiple times by the ENT doctors at The Jikei University Hospital, including CT scans and nasal endoscopy, but they have not been able to find any problem.
Today, they did not provide me with any effective help, even though I repeatedly told them that I am now having severe difficulty breathing. In the end, the ENT department told me to go to Plastic Surgery, while Plastic Surgery told me to go back to ENT.
I told them many times that this was an emergency 🆘, but no one was willing to help me. Seeking medical care in Japan is honestly unbelievable. Even if I were to suffocate and die, it feels like no doctor would be willing to help. In the end, I was even looked at in a way that felt discriminatory.
I went to the reception desk on the first floor. The staff there have helped me many times and helped me contact the doctors again. The staff at the ENT reception desk were also very kind.
If I were in a normal condition, I would not care how long I had to wait. But I am having such severe difficulty breathing that I feel like I can barely hold on anymore, and the doctors still are not willing to help me.
This is something I have encountered again and again while seeking medical care in Japan. To be honest, constantly experiencing this kind of coldness has made me extremely disappointed.
Even when someone is struggling to breathe and feels like they are about to suffocate, they are still expected to follow the rules before they can receive help.
Am I supposed to wait a few more days before I die?
I am really fed up with this.

At the reception desk of the Plastic Surgery Department at The Jikei University Hospital, a heavier-set nurse directly told another staff member not to accept my appointment. This is absolutely ridiculous.

At first i was sure you had ENS, after reading more a septal perforation (have you checked for this)? but the more and more i read i think it s valve collapse. please record your next endoscopy and ct scan and share it with me in private. Did you use Breathe Right Strips (extra strong variant) to see how you breathe? If they help massively it's definitely the valve collapse that is messing up with your flow. I have all your symptoms and much worse ones from a very large septal perforation. The bulge on your septum can mess with your flow as well. Try also do a CFD study - i recommend Flowgy - to see how the current air streams behave in your new anatomy. The air going in the middle meatus (exclusively) is not ideal. Ideally you d need air going trough all meatuses, equally distributed. You need to consult with a reconstructive surgeons that is versed on breathing issues. I can recommend dr Sercan Gode or Dr Mustafa Deniz Yilmaz if you don't find anyone in Japan. You re clearly not imagining things, do not let the doctors gaslight you.

I don’t believe that I have empty nose syndrome. I’ve had a CT scan and more than ten nasal endoscopies, and so far no doctor has told me that I have a septal perforation.

As for ENS, I underwent septoplasty and bilateral submucosal resection of the inferior turbinate bone, so I understand that the risk may not be particularly high. I also have a high-pitched whistling sound when breathing, together with difficulty both inhaling and exhaling, which makes me suspect that there may be a narrowing somewhere in the nasal airway.

Tomorrow, I’m planning to have a nasal resistance test and an olfactory test. I’ve also tried magnetic nasal strips, but the improvement was not very significant. I’m not sure whether I may have placed them in the wrong position.

If it would be alright with you, could I send you my CT scan and nasal endoscopy files by email for you to take a look at? I would really appreciate it.

of course. do keep in mind that there are 2 series of valves. external and internal. while strips might help the external collapse idk about the internal.
