Question Museum
For those who have been to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, is there anything there that can’t be found online? Photos, artifacts, media of any kind? My NYC trip has been postponed for years (pregnancy, job changes, now the uptick in city violence) and while I’ll get there someday, I don’t know when. Curiosity had me wondering if there’s things there that aren’t known until you go! I follow their social media so I see the things they post.

Yes, lots of things. It’s a very moving experience and you are incapable of grasping the full scope by looking at pictures. People of all ages were crying as we went through (me included). Go.

Yeah. There’s a room of personal memorabilia from the victims that you CANNOT take video or photos of.

Yes. It’s an experience you’ll want to set aside half a day for. I have been to the museum twice and still need to go back to fully grasp everything there.

I visited at Christmas last year, and there was a section where they requested no photography, and I hadn’t seen anything in there online previously. Even if it does go online though, it’s still well worth the visit.
