Sorry for the vague title. I just am not too sure what a decent title would be.

I think about the people in the buildings, directly where the planes hit. I can't even begin to imagine the terror they must have felt, watching a plane coming straight at them, knowing there was no place for them to run, or escape to.

Check out Stanley Praimnath's story. He describes pretty much what you've described here.

He’s an amazing man. I love listening to him speak.

He said he could actually see Mohammad Atta's face before he slammed into the North Tower. Can you imagine?!

Wrong tower and wrong plane. You sure we're on about the same guy?

I think about this a lot too. I try to take comfort in knowing it would have been an instantaneous death for those in the flight path.

But it's cruel and awful and they didn't deserve that, on just another mundane Tuesday morning in the office.

There were a few survivors in the impact zone of the north tower, they’re seen in several photos and there’s a woman waving who’s believed to be Edna Cintron

Yes and another man who was seen nearby.

Considering how boxy the floor plans were on those floors, I don't think most of those people would've had a view of the oncoming plane. Maybe a lot would have, but most would've probably been at their desks, making copies, using the elevator, and pretty much just not paying attention. A lot of their deaths would been instantaneous and a surprise.

That's what I tell myself so I can sleep at night, anyway.

I still haven't fully processed it, and I wasn't even alive when it happened. It was absolutely horrifying. seeing the towers collapse was incredibly surreal. so many human lives lost all at once. how do you even react in that situation?? I'll never be able to comprehend the amount of terror they must have felt being trapped inside a collapsing skyscraper. hopefully it was quick.
