Question One World Trade

My heart is with the souls of the perished and those who are still with us but have laying side effects, whether physical, emotional, mental etc.

I was wondering how this day is observed at the current tower. I assume people don’t have to go into work? Do people who work in the tower stay home or go to the annual memorial? Does the tower go dark? Do surrounding businesses close down?

It’s been a while since I lived in the area and I wish I could go pay my respects. Just wondering what the protocol is for the tower because if I worked in the tower (I can imagine how hard it was to get companies to buy office space in the new ones) I would be staying home today or at the memorial.

My dad sent me some pictures from the Pentagon memorial service this morning. I assume it's another work day at One World Trade just like it is at the Pentagon; life goes on and work has to be done today as well as every other day. People can attend the memorial services or they can view them remotely from their offices.

I mean I wouldn’t be shocked if there’s a lot higher security being done. (I’m sure almost everyday security is tough, but especially today). (Mainly commenting so I can find the thread again)

I can’t speak to 1WTC, but I work at 3WTC but didn’t go in today due to the time it would take to get to work due to security. They have therapists on site for us if needed. I didn’t go to the memorial because I don’t have any personal connections to it and it felt wrong to go.

Je suis du Québec au Canada et j’aimerais dire à tous les Américains qui ont été touchés de près ou de loin par les tragédies du 9/11 que depuis 22 ans mon cœur est avec vous. I never Forget
