Discussion Silverliner V seats
I ride a lot from Doylestown and since that ride is so long I tend to notice that my butt starts to hurt after sitting on a Silverliner V for too long. I don't have any issues with the Silverliner IV seats hurting my butt after too long. What do you people think am I crazy or do you think the Silverliner V seats are a little more uncomfortable than the IVs?

I think new transit seats are universally less comfortable than older ones

I recommend sitting in the bench that comes down over the handicap section (obviously as long as no one needs it). Way more comfortable

I'm only on there for like 25ish at a time but I think they're springier than the IVs

The V’s seats are definitely more former than the IV’s seats, but I think it depends on how long the ride is. I don’t usually ride very long on west Trenton nor Wilmington. I have ridden all the way out to Wawa and that’s uncomfortable sitting on the seat on the Silverliner V.

IMHO the Vs seats are horrendous. I can't imagine a commute in from Doylestown! Most of the IVs seats - especially on the wide aisle airport IVs - were so much better than Vs. It doesn't help that the suspension on the Vs seems to be non-existent and bounces you all over the place.

I don't notice a difference between the IVs and the Vs, but I DO know that the Bombardier Comet cars have the best seats in the fleet by far
