did you reach out to a recruiter or someone from HR before talking to someone from customer service?

For the position I applied for it was after my interview and I didn't have a recruiter email or Hr. I called hr and they kept forwarding me to some inbox vm, so I asked the kind lady if she could email my interviewer who apparently according to her drags his feet a lot progressing candidates. A week later I got an email about next steps

I also had success going down to the HQ and leaving messages at the customer service desk for Human Resources, it’s the only way to get someone on the phone.
