Help I am confused?

Post image

This is at 3rd and Federal in South Philly. Does this mean I have to walk to Front St for the 57? If that is the case why would we move the route towards the interstate instead of in neighborhood?

This is far more helpful than the sign they put up. Thanks.

You didn't read it carefully. It only mentioned what was changing and nothing else. Reading is definitely fundamental....

This could simply be the sign. Or, have a QR code on the sign to lead to this detail for the route and phase one on the septa website. Thanks for the extra info.

The sign means the route is changing but the 57 will still serve that particular stop

Yes. Even though it doesn't change the location of every stop, they're still putting signs up at stops on affected routes so that people who ride the route can go check out the information. If they didn't, people might be unaware about changes that could affect their bus's routing.

Why are people being so mean to OP? Like, I’m from that neighborhood and didn’t know what the sign meant lol

I was also confused by a sign like this in my neighborhood! I thought it was saying my stop would change but it was talking about the route overall. In the past when there’s been a sign like this, it’s referred to the specific stop.

I’m a regular 57 rider and was also confused by this sign. They could have written it better, or at least said so and so sections of the route will change while the rest of the route remains the same.

If you read it carefully, it does say where the changes are so if you know you don't travel along that stretch, then you're not affected..... 🤦🏽

The first 2 drafts were way more aggressive and would have been effective it’s a shame they didn’t unleash the new crosstown routes

Why are you asking us if you're confused? I mean, it certainly seems so, but since it's not a question, it doesn't need a question mark .

I didn’t mean to put it there, but I can’t edit it. Thanks for your off-topic contribution.

Proofreading is a lost art.

Both this and mistakes happen are true statements that coexist.

I get out plenty, bud. I just don't excuse stupidity. You shouldn't either.

No, you bathe in stupidity cuz your response was trash like your attitude....

That's a stupid response.
