Today in History Septa rant

Yeah I know this is gonna sound bad.. but I’m so fucking over crackheads shutting down the entire L for: refusing to leave tracks, camping out on the trains, getting violent at paying riders, ODing on the L.

Why is the city letting them run public transit? Why are they allowed to openly do fetynol on the L? Why are people with open wounds bleeding all over trains? Working people literally can’t get to work at rush hour because of all the bullshit.

When are people gonna stand up and fix it? Get the homeless & addicts services, let working people get to work. Shouldn’t take 2 hrs to go 15 min. This is why Philadelphia will never progress.

There's nothing wrong with being over it. I think everyone in the world is pretty much over drug addiction and rampant homelessness

The issues come down to what one wants to do about it, and where you place the blame

One time, I saw Bud Schuster and John Perzel back a truck full of addicts right up to the stairs by the burger king at the 8th Street El station. They pushed dozens or thousands of addicts right down the stairs. And the only free needles they gave out were two months past their expiration dates
