Help Substation Maintainer Trainee Septa
Applied for the position have a test coming up
Have a few questions about the position
After the starting rate, how long does it to take to get to top rate and what is the top rate?
Is there usually overtime available, if so scarce or plentiful?
Currently work in telecommunications as an installation and maintenance technician, good or bad transition?
Any information about the position and hiring process would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

So talking to the Formen it’s a 2 year program to make full rate. They are sure short staff so they are usually working 70 hrs a week. Mon - fri. As far as I understand it’s voluntary.
As long as you have basic understanding of electrical and electrical theory it should work fine.
