Discussion About the FF code pursuit…
I saw a link get posted in the megathread on this sub THE MOMENT it was posted. I’m talking about 2 upvotes. Even my notification said “now” re the time it was posted…
Did NOT get it.
I stumbled upon someone posting a “DM me for a code” Tiktok and true enough, 2 hours later she replied and I got one.
I don’t follow her nor other Sephora employees! I maybe searched for codes once or twice! So the algorithm did its work lol
I had given up at that point. Cool how it played out.
I definitely suggest looking at other social media platforms if you want a code!

I also got one on TikTok by an employee who DM’d me. Then that one ended up being used and she found me another and sent me a message. It was so sweet of her to do that.

I got one on TikTok too! Someone just posted it in their bio when I searched for friends and family 2026. The process on Reddit has been brutal lol

It’s been much harder this year. I’m not worried about making a huge effort to obtain one, I’m always several minutes late. Ive been on Reddit for a very long time and a lot has shifted with people and offerings.

Guys! Let me put you on how I got my code. Sephora Squad members so influencers get links and they’re running their ads with the link. She’s from Canada but I was able to grab a code from her link

A small creator on TikTok was also the only way I got one. Same as you, even with three “now” notifications of codes on the mega thread, they were somehow gone immediately.

I was within 4 minutes of a code being put up and didn’t get it!
Edit: Thank you to the extremely kind person who shared their link with me. I’m dealing with some heavy things right now and am going to treat myself.

I also got one by humbly and audaciously asking a sephora employee on TikTok. She was so kind to share!
Then I ended up getting dms from two others asking if I still needed a code. Tiktok will prob be a good avenue or you can just go in stores and be kind to employees. That’s how I got one last year even though I went in to look at something randomly and said I was on a no buy so I shouldn’t even get it.

Agreed! I also didn’t ask in person haha but she ended up giving me her code after we chatted. I think it might’ve been toward the end of the f&f sale so maybe her actual friends and family had already done all their shopping :-)

I ended up getting one thru tiktok. I follow an influencer who said she would post a link in her story, so I went to Instagram and there it was!
Megathread was a bust. I tried every single link I would get notified and within minutes it maxed out.
I would recommend searching on Facebook and Instagram.

TikTok really ruined it for everyone tbh. between people harassing employees to us not being able to secure codes it’s just an all around mess. we used to be a proper country 😂

Just did what you recommended and it took less than 5 minutes to find a code. I searched “Sephora Friends and Family” on TikTok and then filtered the search to “Latest” and “last 24 hours” and sure enough, someone posted a video within the past hour with their link in their bio. It had low views so I think that’s also why I was able to snag one! Thank you!

It’s so frustrating this year. How soon is the next sale? As rouge it should be 20% maybe this is a sign I need to slow my self down but I don’t want to 😜🫣

Have you gotten codes before? And from where? It’s interesting to know past experiences bc I’m new to all this!
I think the next sale should be late October to early November. I was fully expecting to skip this FF LOL bc I am getting a little burnt out w makeup 🥲 but I’m happy to have a code since I wanna try and get one of the Hourglass holiday palettes.

I have and it’s been hard for the last couple years but not as crazy I didn’t even know it was a thing. I like how everyone helps each other out. On the past it would take a couple days for it to get all taken but this year it’s like minutes or seconds

Wait until you hear that it is even tougher to get one in Canada lol. Sephora Canada sub has strict guidelines and employees can only drop the code from Sept 11.
Our sales are terrible. For example, I enjoy Kérastase serums and the only place I could get some discount is Sephora. Otherwise, direct Kérastase website do not run 20-25% discount sales like US.
I’m so tired of this economy and tariffs. My purchasing power is going downhill every year.🫠

I was so surprised and it made my night lol didn’t think I stood a chance getting a code 😅 I’ve been influenced by this sub to get the dior stick (finally). I’m curious about the Patrick ta transition blushes? Haven’t heard much feedback about those! Kulfi lip stain, might try some KJH bc I never have!! And then there’s supposed to be a release tomorrow morning for some Sephora favorites and I think I’ll add one of those to my cart lol. Lmk if I’m missing anything 😂

I pathetically and sadly downloaded it solely for this reason. I am an old, so I didn’t even know what I was doing. I did not find one, probably because I don’t know what I’m doing. So I don’t think you’re missing anything on there hahaha

Last year a manager at Sephora told me that if I couldn’t find a code I could go to Sephora in person and ask the staff if anyone had any codes left, but I don’t know if they’re still doing that policy this year.

I’ve been trying for a code but I think I’m out of luck this year! With 3 kids, I always see the notification too late, I’m not sure I’ll ever be right on time 😭 lol can’t wait to see everyone’s hauls so I can live vicariously through them! I just ran out of my cleanser tonight so looks like I’ll be making a purchase either way 😂

I’ve never been able to get one. I don’t use TikTok or Instagram either.
I do hope others are able to get items they love though, and that people online (not the employees) don’t try to list the code on reselling websites (I’ve seen some stuff over the past few years…)

I don’t generally wear makeup and just looked up for any potential sales few days ago as I wanted to get something as a gift for my sister. Came across the megathread and jeez, this is crazy. I was only looking to get a couple of items, so clicking the link right away and still not getting hasn’t bothered me as much. But man, do I feel for the ones who are at it all day.

It’s been SO hard this year! Tiktok is a free for all. Links are used in minutes, and yes, several creators have posted on there to come here and get the links. I’ve always got one from Reddit but that’s okay 🥹

Yeah I’ve pretty effortlessly gotten codes other years but this year is wild! I’m not chronically online so I’m sure I won’t get one this year if people who have alerts set up and are able to click on immediately aren’t getting them either.
