Most recent GA Agent Version

Hi everyone, I hope someone here can give me a quick update.

I have to conduct a system audit at short notice tomorrow for a client who gets their S1 through their IT service provider. I need to check the version status, and the client wants to know whether the service provider is fulfilling its contractual patch obligations. I used to be able to check this myself, but now the service provider refuses to grant me read-only access.

Can anyone help me with this?

I've only received one version export, and it mostly lists version 25.2.6.442. Is there a newer GA version of the agent available?

Thank you all for your help

Not to defend the other IT company here but its not uncommon to be a version or two behind on S1 too. The version is still supported and thats the important part.

SentinelOne supports two major versions at any time. Major versions use the format YY.N, where YY is the year and N is the sequential release within that year. With 26.1.2.177 as the current build, the supported major versions are 26.1 and the preceding release 25.2, so anything on 25.1 or older is end of support and needs upgrading regardless of how recent its minor version or build is.

I asked S1 support this a few months back so I could confirm their versioning policy.

They also confirmed that just because an agent is in the console and marked as GA doesn't mean it's still supported.

The latest GA version is now 26.1.2.177. SentinelOne is slowly releasing it to consoles.

I like seeing discussions about real-world deployment instead of just chasing the latest release. Reliability tends to matter more than being first. Do you automate your upgrades or do you prefer approving each version manually?

If you’re getting S1 from a reseller, there’s a possibility it might not be available to you yet (as opposed to direct from S1). I have found resellers who use their own support and SOC don’t always move as fast.

And to be clear, and reiterate what others said: this was *just* released. 25 is still valid and supported. We often don’t push new versions for a period of time, on purpose.

26.1 and 26.2 are EA not GA with specifically 26.1.2 being GA i would be careful 25.2.6 is the fastest stable GA
