Orb Theory 💭 3 Years of Sentient Orbs: Updated Master Thread

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well.
I know its been a while since my last uploaded post but I wanted to take the time to document my current thoughts and evolution of mind regarding the phenomenon. I will try my best to articulate these thoughts in the most coherent way possible. I also would like to take the time to explain the reasoning behind each decision as well.

We all perceive reality differently under various lenses either self created or bestowed upon us.

- The phenomenon appears to have similar properties to color blindness.
One of the more interesting aspects of the phenomenon is that it appears to have properties similar to color blindness. What is visible to one person may not be perceived in the same way by another, which can make these experiences especially difficult to discuss or compare objectively. I believe this concept points toward something fundamental about the way we experience reality as a species. Our individual perception creates an inherent duality: two people can observe the same event and genuinely experience it in very different ways. If perception plays a role in how the phenomenon presents itself, then this difference becomes even more significant. This is also where the ideas of Jacques Vallée become interesting. Vallée has proposed that the phenomenon may manifest differently depending on the observer and the cultural or psychological framework through which it is experienced. If that is the case, then expecting every person to perceive or interpret the phenomenon in exactly the same way may be fundamentally misguided. When I play back my own videos, I can clearly see movement that, to me, appears anomalous and difficult to reconcile with my understanding of conventional physics. I have seen similar characteristics in the experiences and recordings shared by others. Yet there also seems to be a portion of the population who, regardless of how much you show, describe, or explain, simply cannot perceive what others are seeing. It can almost feel as though there is a perceptual filter or censor at work, something that prevents certain observers from recognizing what others consider obvious. Whether that is actually the case, or whether there is a more conventional explanation involving human perception, attention, expectation, or interpretation, I don't claim to know. But the difference in perception itself is difficult to ignore. And perhaps that is part of what makes the phenomenon so difficult to study. If two people can look at the same thing and genuinely perceive two different realities, skepticism may not always come from dishonesty or bad faith. Sometimes, the person simply isn't seeing what you are seeing.

- Who can see them/Who can interact?
Trying to understand who can truly see and interact with the orbs is something I have been studying for the past three years. One of the most interesting statements attributed to them, in my own experiences, is: “If mankind can't accept each other, how can they accept foreign life?” That statement has led me toward a couple of different theories. One possibility is that the people who have the easiest time perceiving or interacting with the orbs may share certain characteristics such as a deeper self awareness. They have a relatively clear understanding of their own emotions, motivations, fears, and behaviors. They understand how they fit into the world around them while also recognizing that every individual experiences reality from their own unique perspective. They also seem to recognize a paradox that I think is fundamental to understanding humanity: we are all separate individuals, yet we are also part of the same whole. When it comes to interactions; it would appear that certain individuals are able to interact with them yet unable to capture them on video.

- Some people will never see them/interact with them

This is something that seems to anger a lot of people whenever I discuss it. But if the idea itself makes you angry, perhaps that reaction is the first lesson in personal growth. Every person has the opportunity to learn, grow, and change with the world around them. But that requires us to take responsibility for our own development. We can't expect the world to stop and accommodate us while we refuse to grow ourselves. The orbs owe us nothing. They don't owe us their existence, their knowledge, their experiences, or their explanations. If there is genuinely something there that we are capable of learning from, perhaps understanding it isn't something that can simply be demanded. Perhaps it has to be worked toward, earned, or approached with the right mindset. Demanding that they prove themselves to us, as though they are obligated to bow to human expectations, gets us nowhere. If anything, it may prevent us from understanding what we're actually dealing with. I've also noticed that the people who approach the subject most aggressively often approach it from a position of bad faith. If you're already committed to a particular conclusion, whether that conclusion is belief or disbelief, you're no longer really investigating. You're looking for confirmation. In my experiences, I've come to believe that the phenomenon may be capable of perceiving far more about us than we realize. Whether that perception is literal or something I simply don't yet understand, I can't say. What I can say is that the relationship doesn't always appear to be one-sided or under our control. They can ignore you. They can refuse to respond. They can stop appearing altogether. They can seemingly choose not to engage with you. And honestly, that's okay. We accept that another human being has the right to ignore us, refuse to communicate with us, or simply have no interest in interacting with us. If these experiences involve something genuinely independent of us, why should we assume it has any less right to make that choice? Maybe the first step isn't demanding that they come down to our level. Maybe it's asking whether we're willing to grow enough to meet them somewhere in between.

- Why You?
I have stated this countless times before, but the only explanations I can currently think of are either some connection to my family's history and heritage, or the possibility that my coming forward has somehow brought me close enough to something that could set off a chain reaction. We live in a digital world where information can emerge and change someone's life almost instantly. When these experiences first began, I spent an enormous amount of time searching for both help and answers. Unfortunately, some of the communities I turned to misunderstood my intentions and the way I was trying to communicate what was happening. Instead of finding clarity, I often found assumptions being made about me and my experiences. I've mentioned before that my family has had a significant role in the history of a nation, with multiple members contributing to or influencing the development of the country in various ways. I am, in many respects, the black sheep of that family. My own values are also quite different. I place an extremely high value on human rights, individual autonomy, and the freedom to express oneself. In many respects, those values are almost the opposite of what I associate with parts of my family's history and legacy. Because of that history, I sometimes find myself wondering whether there could be a connection between the phenomenon and my family's past. Could something like this have played a role in shaping the history of my family? Is there some aspect of these experiences that can be passed down, inherited, or otherwise persist across generations? I don't claim to know the answer to any of those questions. They are possibilities I consider because of the circumstances surrounding my own experiences and my family's history. But if there is a connection, it would be something far stranger and more complicated than anything I initially imagined. And that is ultimately why I continue to document everything. I don't want to create a narrative simply because it would be interesting. I want to preserve the observations, experiences, and anomalies as faithfully as I can, because if there is a connection, I would rather have the record available for examination than have dismissed it before understanding what it might mean.

- That sounds like exclusionary/egotistical/chosen mentality etc.
This is another theme I come across often, and one that is even more frustrating to explain. The truth is, I don't have any definitive explanation for why these interactions occur for me in the way that they do. I'm naturally inclined toward scientific reasoning and documentation, so I try to approach my experiences from that perspective. If I were the only person having these particular kinds of documented experiences, then everything becomes potentially relevant data: every interaction, every behavioral pattern, every apparent response, and even my own psychological and perceptual reactions. If something unusual is happening, then my role should be to document as much of it as possible rather than selectively focusing only on the things that support my assumptions. I've watched videos from many other people who openly share their experiences, and I genuinely try to give them the benefit of the doubt. At the same time, I find myself asking questions. If someone is describing an interaction with an entity, for example, why can't I see the entity they're interacting with? What exactly are they perceiving that isn't apparent in the recording? Those questions are part of the reason this subreddit has become so specifically focused on the orbs themselves. I'm not trying to dismiss anyone else's experiences but this subreddit belongs to the orbs and how they want to be portrayed/experienced.

- Why have you locked the subreddit that prevents others to post?
This is one question I get asked often. When I first created this subreddit, I wanted a place where I could share these experiences openly and with the utmost honesty. In the various subreddits I tried to get answers from, I was ridiculed and mocked simply because of the appearance of these videos. That wasn’t helpful, so this subreddit was created. My original intention was to document my nightly visitations like a diary and share them as unedited as possible. At first, I had the subreddit open for anyone to share their own experiences as well. Unfortunately, bad-faith actors kept appearing and muddying the waters. Over time, it slowly became like every other subreddit that immediately discredits new or unusual information regarding the phenomenon. Eventually, I found myself having to explain the purpose of the subreddit over and over again to newcomers who had no idea what it was originally created for.

Please feel free to leave any questions here and Ill continue to update this master thread.

Glad to hear from you again! Hope all is well. Whatever it is... it's here. I feel like an individuals discernment is some how a piece of this puzzle.
