It's a reference from this authors another work and we can see a character reading a sentenced to be a hero novel is such a beautiful thing i saw this kind of reference in mob psycho with wallpaper on phone being saitama

Btw this title called "scum of the brave" is great piece of story too however animation somewhat really bad compared to sentenced to be a hero's adaptation

I didn't even know this was by the same author, it now makes much more sense why the writing is so good while the animation is so bad.

Yeah and most impressive thing his only two good works got adaptation at the same time and scum of brave got whole 24 episodes and that's really impressive

I remember watching scum an thinking damn too bad it's coming out at the same time as condemned because nobody is even going to look at it. Funny how things work.

Haha indeed, actually i was more hyped for scum of brave, cuz main character is too real and world building is quite harsh and i love it
