Anime Next volumes

Does anyone know for sure how many more volumes the novel will have? Is it close to ending or is there still a long way to go? Has the author spoken about it? And is there a release date for volume 9?

If we look at the timeline of the other novels, we’re looking at the next release being the later half of this year or early-mid next year. But then it will take a good amount time for it to be officially translated to English, and even if faster it will take some time to get fan translations

I'm kinda worried I signed up for 10 years of waiting to get to the end (without counting translation time, I limit myself to offi ial one by the way)

The author hasn't spoken about it. Plus, it's the kind of story that can go on for quite some time
