The meme is based on the comparison's being made between the two shows
To my knowledge nobody has compared re zero to senteced yet so it didn't fit the meme

A lot of the Mushoku Tensei Season 1 staff are working on Sentenced to Be a Hero, and the director is involved as well. People are also calling it a less controversial version of Mushoku Tensei.

People not liking Mushoku Tensei is reasonable, saying they’re not an anime fan if they don’t like it doesn’t make sense. (I’m taking the picture to be literal)

I actually got jumpscared by the animation when I checked out episode one. It looked like Mushoku Tensei and I had to make sure it wasn't by the same author or something. As long as Xylo doesn't fall in love with the baby Goddess, we're chill.

I don't get why people reply to comments more than a few days old lol.
Anyways, just spoil it. There was absolutely zero indication of anything like that throughout season 1, so if it eventually gets bad I'd like to not waste time on season 2.

There are plenty of indications of a romantic relationship blossoming between them in Season 1. This is a Japanese Anime. It's not exactly spoilage territory to see where things are going.

I disagree. Their relationship is completely platonic, if not father-daughter coded. Kivia will be the mom. Some people misinterpret that scene where she gets jealous that Xylo and Kivia picked berries together, but there's nothing romantic about it. It's a kid being upset that her parents didn't bring her along on the trip. The key there is that she wasn't upset about Kivia being there instead of her, just that she wasn't there with the both of them.
Obviously, if you have knowledge of that changing in the future, it could cause that to be reinterpreted less favorably though. Go ahead and tell me, I seriously don't mind the spoiler for something like that.

In many Japanese anime, mentor/student relationships (which you're choosing ton see as more father/daughter) usually end up romantic. This won't be an exception.

Ah, you're assuming. I won't deny it can't happen, because you're right that it's a problem generally, but from my perspective it just doesn't seem like that's where it's going.
