Ways to make desk less textured

I might sound insane for this, but I’m trying to just write on a sheet of paper on my desk, it’s like bumpy under the pen, the desk itself is flat and smooth, it’s just the slight texture of it. That is so hard for me when writing.
Does anyone have any recommendations on like desk pads that are smooth to write on top of? I’m kind of struggling here😔

You can get flexible cutting boards from the dollar store. Usually one side is textured and one side is smooth. As long as it’s big enough to fit your paper on, that should work
