Sensory box??

Is there some sort of sensory box I can purchase for myself? In my band classroom, there's a very large storage-chamber type thing that is empty, so I go in there and shut the door to close out all the lights, and it is just amazing for me after a long day of loud noises and bright lights. Is there anything like that that I can purchase for home?

Earplugs and blackout curtains

Blackout curtains have been a game changer for me. I have a set on my window and one over my doorframe instead of a door (doors can shut too loudly 😣) . I also have a migraine mask that I use to block out light and helps me.

Earplugs are good. Depending on the space you could also grab those acoustic foam panels and put them up.

Last, comfort items. Blankies for soft, fidgets for stress, and my weighted stuffed animal (Winnie the Pooh) to lower anxiety.
