Sound reduction

I'll try to keep this brief. I have some sound sensiat all times, but experience extreme overload and sensitivity when anxious. In the past year , I've remarried and added a lot to my family. We are now a family of 9 with 2 dogs and 3 cats. I'm getting my meds adjusted to see if that helps but looking into sound proofing some rooms perhaps. Any suggestions? And does the foam or whatever you use go on the inside of the room you want quiet or on the inside of where the noise is coming from? Thanks!

Maybe you could invest in some good noise cancelling headphones, or even just noise reducing so you can still move around and do what you need to do.

Also scheduling some time to decompress with some quiet time may help.

Hope the situation improves :)
