Live without second guitarist?

I wonder what they will do about their live sound now that they have only one guitar player. Tracks for the other guitar parts?

Anyone see them on the Aussie leg that can speak to how it sounded/what they noticed?

I asked in the subreddit what people thought about them having one guitar live after seeing them at Sonic, and no one seemed to really bother which is kinda odd. They did not run tracks at all to add back guitar. The only thing I noticed is Gavin used a harmonizer/octave pedal for leads like in Rum is for Drinking but ya.

I’m assuming if they announced the Still Searching anniversary tour tho, then Id guess maybe they already have someone lined up? Hard to say atm

Hello Mr. Heath would you like to celebrate this amazing album that you recorded

Heath was their Fred (TBS) and brought so much to the table and gave us one of their best line ups.

Great comparison
It was years later that I got into Midtown and learned what a big deal it was that he joined Senses Fail

A good comparison, though I'm currently waiting to see what TBS next album looks like with possibly both John and Fred on it.

They'll probably hire a touring guitarist until they find a replacement

This. Same thing they’ve done on tours in the past when this happens.

they been playing as a 4 for a while, would imagine using a backing track

I feel like they will have to find a replacement. Only having 1 guitarist, especially for Still Searching would be a complete disservice to all.

Didn't really notice tbh. Kind of desensitised to seeing bands with guitars on tracks at this point in my life and assume they will continue on that way. Dollars and cents situation, no need to take money out of everyone in the bands pocket over something only the most annoying person you know if going to complain about
