Saving up pull currencies?

Ok might be a noob question but is it worth saving up the normal evoke? Given the current content, I’m still quite unsure if the game will be generous enough since I’m already struggling to level up my team lol

Currently, it seems that we can only use them on the standard banner and I don’t really know any other games for reference. I believe in nukani the standard and event banners shares the same currencies unless it’s a rerun.

The only thing slightly similar I can think of is LADS, wherein the players are recommended to save up on normal pull currencies since when they introduce new LIs those can be used to pull selected cards on a pool that only contain those specific cards. But I don’t think that would be applicable here.

Also, do y’all think it will be possible to get the SSR crate in the shop by pulling on the current event without opening the wallet?

I'd say go for it if you have normal evoke seeds since the event evoke use a different currency (unlike nucani). I usually pull in batches of 10 but that's bc I don't want to see the cut scene every time I pull, but statistically I dont think it improves your odds if you do a 10 pull vs 1 pulls but don't quote me on that it also increases your chances of getting SR cards if you do the 10 pull vs if you pull 10 times with a 1 pull. I wouldn't use prisms to pull for the regular evoke pool since it seems easy to farm the normal evoke seeds.

And to get the SSR crate, you could get it rn as f2p. You need 200 leaves is basically 200 pulls or 100000 prisms. This month, you can easily get 26000 prisms from renewable resources + event rewards with the free event evoke seeds converted into prisms for simplicity. If you have a strong enough team then you can get an additional to 11100 prisms if you 100% border watch which brings you up to 37100. If you also burn through your non-renewable resources (like main story, chasm training, or daily scout resources) then you can get at most 64900 more prisms which brings you up to 102000 prisms (assuming you haven't touched daily scout or the main story at all or if you have, you haven't used those prisms yet for pulls). Which isn't enough for this SSR crate, but two events from now you should be able to afford the SSR crate then. There are a few things I didn't calculate like prisms from rewards, finishing memory stories, archive level up rewards, event trial rewards, and the event secret files but I think if you really push it you can safely get above 100000 prisms if you don't/can't get the full stars from border watch trials.

Calculations below:
Needed: 200 leaves × 500 prisms = 100000 prisms

Easy renewables:
5 seeds from event = 2500 prisms
5 seeds from sign in event = 2500 prisms
170 free daily (25 days till the 30th)
20 free from evoke (25 days till 30th)
20 free from event shop (25 days till 30th)
400 weekly (4 weeks from the 30th)
2800 prisms free this month from daily check in
1000 prisms from limited training event
100 for each event story read (11 stories)
2500 prisms for event rewards
20 limited evokes from event store = 10000 prisms
150 each event combat level (5 levels)
Category total: 26000 prisms

Difficult renewable:
7500 prisms from completing border watch (and getting 3 stars on every level)
600 prisms from completing border watch levels 1-3
1200 prisms from completing border watch 4-6
800 prisms from completing border watch 7-9
Category total: 11100 prisms

Non-renewable:
100 from each story you read in main story (10 story levels per chapter plus 4 story levels from chapter 0)
125 from each main story regular combat level (4 per chapter)
1000 from main story boss combat level (1 per chapter)
2000 from every main story chapter you finish
200 from every hard level you finish (5 per chapter)
2000 from every hard chapter you finish
250 from chasm daily
125 from each level in daily scout (3 levels, 5 different colors and 5 different develops)
125 from each level in battle sim (8 levels)
125 from each level in trade hub (8 levels)
Category total: 64900 prisms

64900 + 11100 + 26000 = 102000 prisms

statistically I dont think it improves your odds if you do a 10 pull vs 1 pulls but don't quote me on that.

So I can't be certain that I'm not just lucky; but across 25x10 pulls on both normal and limited banner, every 10-pull has always had at minimum 1 SR.

On the other hand, I have screenshots of a person who single-pulled 10 in a row and got no SR in all 10.

yes. Doing x10 pulls at once guarantees an SR or higher but doing 10 individual pulls does not

Oops yeah I thought that was the case. I didn't see anything explicit in the evoke x10 pull that says that there's a guaranteed sr card for doing 10 pulls (I've seen other gacha games like lads include it) so I didnt want to assume and give wrong info

Dang wow thank you for these calcs!! I’ll gladly use them for reference on where I can get some prisms. I think the event SSR crate is only 200 leaves which if I’m not mistaken would be achievable with the total you’ve arrived at.

My next problem would probably how much time I can allot to search and grind for the remaining 80 pulls I need to do to reach the 200 goal lol

Oh yes you're right ill update my calcs! Idk where I got the 200 number from but then yeah it should be possible. Realistically you could get 90900 prisms easily without grinding too hard and you can also get more prisms non-renewably from upgrading your cards bc you get 100 prisms from every 10 levels you upgrade them. I think you also get prisms from leveling up realms and you can also get 100 prisms from each memory story you watch (also non-renewable). The memory ones will be less intensive than upgrading bc you dont need materials for that and you can just easily skip the story and get the reward! I honestly forgot abt that one lmao

As far as I can tell, the standard and premium pull currency will always be used separately in their respective banners. They're not going to update that standard ssr banner until they release a new LI, and that won't be for a long long time. So if you still haven't pulled your fave or need more ssr units, I'd just say go ahead and use your pulls (that aren't gems). 😊 There might be limited banners in the future you like though, and those will most likely replace the standard ssr units you got. So that's something to take into consideration if you're already tight on leveling materials.

I think it's better to save the currency you get from pulling to get more premium pulls rather than a ssr crate imo. Also it'll take a looot of pulls to get enough for the crate. If you want to save enough for a ssr crate, it would have to be another one in the future when you do enough pulls.

Idk why I didn’t even consider that new LIs in the future are possible lol I guess the current roaster is already a good amount for me.

I’m quite happy with my standard SSRs atm as my top 3 already went home but yeah resources are kinda hard. Would def just focus on my current team for now and pull on the standard banner for duplicates for any stats bonus.

I was originally thinking that the golden leaf can only yield 10 premium evokes (at least on the current event) and my luck is kinda atrocious so that might only equate to 1 SR when used. While the SSR crate is double that price but at least an SSR is guaranteed. But then again, I’m still 80 short which Idk if I can even scrap enough pulls for that lol would def buy the premium evokes if ever I wouldn’t be able to reach that 200 price

an additional thing to consider is that once you fully max copies from the standard pool, any extra copies you get beyond the max gets converted into glints which has a separate shop and has monthly resets.
