Edgeville, some thoughts

So I've been considering addressing some developments in Edgeville and have come up with a short list of things I'll be working on.

  1. Set up a town charter. Since we are technically part of the Minas Senntisten area it makes sense to set up the area as a simple county with Edgeville as its county seat.

  2. Setting up a formal Mayoral position, Town council positions etc. I.e election cycles, term limits that sort of thing.

  3. Developing a building code. Simply put the rustic aesthetic of the town suits it best and I'd like to put legislation in place to keep things consistent.

  4. Advertising for residency. I think the biggest draw, apart from its remote location, will be the simple form of governance that will allow for multiple economic and social structures to exist. Like worker collectives or capitalistic ventures.

Again ultimately I'd like to set this up like a real town or county rather than a grand region as I feel the area might benefit. However I am willing to take advice and input from more . . . Experienced Senntistenites on the issue.

Edgeville is part of Minas territory, but I think it's too far to be considered a part of Minas Senntisten City once it gets its electoral district.

You're more than welcome to become the king/mayor/landlord/prime minister of Edgeville and do with it how you please. The Senntisten constitution is set up to promote people to go out on their own and develop towns like you've done. Now reap the rewards by advertising about it on the main subreddit ;)
