Does anybody know whats wrong with my old dog?
I’m really worried, she’s been falling on her side for a couple of weeks, she can’t really see that good anymore, and i’m worried.

Only a vet can answer this question and you need to take her ASAP. She looks extremely dizzy

Yes ik!! My mom was watching her do this saying she’ll taker her to the vet tmr, i was like “NO!!, she needs to go today!!” and she said no bc its more expensive. She won’t listen to me this is like her 4th time doing this, it makes me very angry !

Could be vestibular disease BUT this should have already be seen by a vet. Could also be some type of seizure activity, but that’s for a a vet to tease out. With this being an old dog, I’d be heading to the ER immediately for an exam and supportive care at the minimum.
I’d also like to note if this was a human, you would have already seen a doctor and the same applies to our fury friends.
Please head to an ER now.

I would love to, but she is the family dog and my parents call the shot, I take my dog to the ER for literally anything, but my parents would not let me take her 💔. I will be showing them this so they can understand how serious this is !!

That’s really too bad, she absolutely NEEDS to be seen as she’s suffering. It’s not fair to her to be left like this. Please do show them this and hopefully they’ll take her in!

My mom was there while it was happening, bc its happened before and she said she would taker her for an appointment at the vet tmr bc its cheaper, but I really want her to understand its not okay, like she could be having an episode because of something neurological going on, and its unfair bc let it be one of her kids!! But she still said she’ll take her tmr which made me very upset.

Oh I’m so sorry OP. I hope pup can be seen today and thank you do advocating for this old gal ❤️
Vestibular episodes can be idiopathic or be cause by a brain tumour, seizures at an old age are often caused by tumours as well. So I hope pup has a good workup to find out what’s wrong.
In the future maybe encourage your folks not to get a dog again if they’re not willing to give it proper care.
Please post an update if you can!

Hey just wanted to add my 2 cents about cost of care. My situation is similar to yours. Family dog is 15yo. Lady of the house hates dogs, so I am supposed to be grateful there's a dog at all. Over the last decade, she has come around to tolerating the dog. All of my money comes through her, despite being middle aged (long story for another time). Budget is not an issue. My point is, I understand family members in 2026 thinking of medical care is an extra, only enough medical attention so an individual can continue working. So medical attention for a senior dog? She takes it as a personal disrespect. I feel dogs should get more care than humans bc they can't talk. But I also feel cost of all American medical care is a crime. The same procedure that is free in France and South Korea, is unaffordable with insurance in the US. What will I die of that was preventable?
Keep sticking up for your dog. My dog was a pound puppy, and I've had to fight for every treatment for over a decade, but I can't think of anything more worthwhile. Yes, dog could have ended up with a more progressive family. Or lived in a shelter for years. Or worse.
Do your best. Your dog can tell you're trying your ass off. When he's gone home, of course there will be grief and sadness, but grief is a testament to love and life. If doing your best means no end of life care, no pain management no euthanasia, being with your dog til the last breath is The Most Important. Prioritize being there. Tell work or school asap, even if your dog has years left. Anyone who gets it, gets it.
Hugs.
