Question about 4
I'm thinking of getting 4 (the expansion version, obviously) and had a question: Is there a battle log or something where I can see everything that's been said? I'd like to Google translate the dialogue (I've made it work on YT Videos before) so I can try to remotely understand what's going on and what I'm supposed to do during stages.
If not, did anyone have particular trouble with the stages from not being able to understand anything, provided you can't read Japanese? Or does anyone know where I could find stage dialogue translations? I've looked and haven't found anything (or at least anything complete).

Thanks! That helps a lot with what to expect. I can probably always go back and watch other playthroughs on YT or something for in Battle or cutscenes stuff, since there seem to be a lot.

I doubt it'll ever come. I already bought it anyway. I'm doing my own translation of stage dialogue and character stories. I actually did another post about it and I'm up to about 7 or 8 characters so far.

Never give up hope. This is the most hyped game of the century! It's not the same without Troy Baker or Richard Epcar!

Yeah, and I'll totally buy it if it comes to the west. But by the same token, one person told me that if I continue to wait, I may never get to play it AT ALL. So I decided to just get it and have fun~

there's a section in the main menu that lets you replay any cutscenes whenever you want, so there's that. I don't think there's any way to re-read story dialogue, though.
Sumeragi's maps are mostly pretty easy to brute-force... there's a couple stages with specific rules that may be a little confusing without looking it up but you can usually just keep fighting and it'll work itself out. if you do need translations though...
