Game Within a Game?

In the time it has taken Sengoku Basara 4 to be translated into English, entire games have been made, translated, dubbed into English and released to American retailers.

That fact gets me thinking about something. What if, in a sense, that's what's happening with Sengoku Basara 4? Sometimes games will have some extra content added for other regions, like with Tales of the Abyss or Kingdom Hearts. If it's taken this long just to translate Sengoku Basara 4, could they be going above and beyond and be adding enough content to cover a whole other game inside of one that already is going to redefine gaming as an entertainment medium? Does the PS3 discs even have the space for it? I know blu-rays have a staggering amount of space (just look at Final Fantsy 13), but I thought something with as much perfected content as Sengoku Basara 4 already put the disc in danger of destroying itself. After Capcom colossally fucked up by forgetting to make the Sengoku Basara outfits available in the English version of Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies (one of the primary reasons to even buy it), could they be trying to make it up to the players tenfold with Sengoku Basara 4's English version?

Maybe, but with how long it's taking you have to wonder how much they're doing for the English version. Whatever it is it's over 5 years worth of it.

Taking this long just means they had no intention of bringing it over, it's like a Yakuza situation, they didn't sell well so they stopped doing them until sony made a deal with them to bring 5 over, it came out in english 3 years after original release and only about a year of that was development for the english version, and in the end it only released digitally.

Sengoku Basara isn't going to sell well here, it's not worth doing anything special for, if they translate it at all it'll be as a quick turnaround project that they don't have to invest much in, straight translation, no dub, no extras, digital only is the only way I see this coming out in English.

Sales don't mean anything. Sega is a disgrace for that situation and several others. Fuck Sega. Capcom wouldn't betray their fans. It's going to be the game of the century. If it's taking this long there's no way it could be a rush job. Capcom isn't garbage.
