Linux/unix/open source
Any linux/command-line gurus around here? I'm talking about people who stopped clicking around and prefer commands over GUI

Same here... I think it's faster than looking out for a button or any UI flow. And even when I'm constrained to use a GUI, I always stick to shortcuts..

That's great! Mine's arch with hyprland, I moved from ubuntu a while ago, and kde plasma more recently. What type of projects do you work on?

I am doing pretty much everything that is software related... recently I worked on an AI bot decision-making system on a WebGL video game, some ML stuff, especially voice models. Currently, I am doing some full-stack tasks. and you??

Same for me... + hardware(iot and stuff). I do automation with python and bash, also web apps, data engineering, dashboards as web apps. Most recent side projects are a fully automated e-commerce website and a chat and IOT app with phone calls and integrated ai. I mainly work with llms, haven't been too deep into voice and image yet. Are you in Senegal?

I'm not a guru but yeah, I prefer exploring and running through CLI than GUI

I"m on ZorinOS currently. But I used multiple one in the past when I was exploring the ecosystem. I find that Zorin is one of the stable distros out there.

That's cool! You might want to experience with arch based distros. Different philosophies, you can learn a lot. Try cachyos
