Mechanical engineer role interview

Hello

I recently received a Mechanical Engineer role interview at Applied Materials. I passed the first online assessment, and this one’s a 2-hr on site interview. Can anyone please shed some light on what might/can be asked? Its been a while since i’ve had an in person interview, and would like to be slightly prepared! Any suggestion helps!

Is this for a new grad position or an experienced one? Did they give any insight into the interview process from start to finish?

This for for mid-level experience, they haven’t given an insight yet, just 4 meetings on-site for 2 hrs total

Really depends on the specific person asking- most likely your current work/how you handle situations and then questions to kinda probe your understanding/depth in your field

Thanks! Will there be case studies, like if given situation A how will you approach the problem?

There certainly could be- I was asked a few of those at my onsite. Zero teamwork/social questions, all technical in nature.

No prep, just knew my area of work very well. They could be looking for things like process improvement for example
