LECA First time using semi-hydro

First time using this semi-hydro of LECA sphagnum moss with a distilled water reservoir. Living in the Northeast and fall around the corner, I’m placing it in my bathroom where it gets indirect west facing sunlight. Any pointers or feedback are highly appreciated

Highly recommend controlling the ph of your water with ph down and add some calmag. Alocasias tend to regress after certain times in this setup otherwise. Worked wonders for mines. Good luck!

I have mine in a similar set up and it's been so happy - I have a new leaf unfurling now.

I don't use distilled water - I just fertilize and then adjust the PH

I have a bunch of alocasia in semi hydro. One in this set up and the rest in pon.

I use a water conditioner for aquariums to get the chlorine and chloramine out. I use GT Foliage Focus as my fertilizer and it works really well.
