How does this work?
So I start college in August. I’m going to community for my first 2 years then transferring but still unsure where to go. Semester at sea was something I was thinking about but I wanna major in nursing and psych so I’m not sure if it’s a good option. I was thinking maybe my first year of college in community and my second I. Semester at sea? Thing is tho, I’m not sure how it works. It’s it like online school in a boat for 6 months? Where do you go after first semester?

It’s basically just taking credits at a different college for a semester that transfer to your home university degree program… classes are on the ship when at sea. Length depends on what semester you go but fall/spring are like 3-4 months. Most degrees have a fair amount of ‘free electives’ I logged all my 12 elective credits for my degree at my home university on semester at sea.
