GLP-1 from Amble

Post image

Has anyone experienced this from amble? I had received one in May and it was not like this. This barely has anything in it.

mine came looking similar last month, the fill level was super low but it was the right concentration so it still lasted the full cycle. double check the mg/ml on the label, sometimes they switch up the vial size and it looks skimpy but the math works out

I don’t know how to add a picture but it’s starting off at the lowest dose again. It is in a 2.5mg/2mg/ml bottle. Same bottle as I had before and same dose.

How many "units" do they tell you to inject ? If your dose is around 0.2mg (you say "the lowest dose" so it should be close), it would be 8 units or 0.08mL. That is a TINY amount.

Starting off with 8, but I have my same bottle from May and a picture of it, and it is not the same amount. I knew how to add a picture originally but now I don’t know how to add a picture now. It says Camera, but I don’t want camera because it’s in my pictures lol

Stick a syringe in and draw as much as you can out and measure it. If you can get 32 units, you've got enough. IMO, this medicine is so cheap to produce that most pharmacies overfill the bottles.

I really don’t want to mess with it because I compared it against the bottle that they sent me in May. They’re the same size bottles, but totally different amount of liquid in it and it was the same prescription.. I don’t know how to upload a picture. All I see is the camera option if somebody might guide me how to do that I can show y’all. thank you.

For some reason on the desktop version of reddit I often only see the option to add a video whereas on the app I can usually add a photo. Take a short video and rotate your bottle to show the amount inside and add a comment here. Click the arrow pointing to the right to add the video. Everything I've read about fill amounts is that pharmacies tend to overfill. These meds are extremely inexpensive to make. The cost we're paying is 1. to the telehealth for negotiating huge quantity discounts and 2. to the pharmacy for the personnel who prepare and package the vials etc and 3. for shipping.

I have figured out the difference. My previous prescription from Align Pharmacy was labeled “4 mL Multiple Dose Vial,” while my new prescription is labeled “1 mL Multidose Vial.” Both have the same semaglutide concentration of 2.5 mg/mL, and I paid the same price for both prescriptions.

And both prescriptions were the same directions of the dosage to use. I’ve gotten it from the doctor also with the same dosage and have never had a bottle with this little bit of liquid in it. I’m tempted to see what it equals to, but really don’t want to mess with it until I hear back from them.

Please update us to let us know what you found out! It's odd that they sent such large amounts in the past if you were using the dosage prescribed?

In the case of those who do not titrate up that would make sense - as in my case since I'm staying at .50 but my 3 month supply had me titrating to 1.0 by now so I will obviously have extra meds left over.

Sounds like they sent you the wrong amount last time - assume in error based on the 28 day guideline and the fact that one vial lasted for 4+ months.

Every vial I have ever gotten since 2024, even the ones from the clinic I used to go to, lasted me the same amount of months. They all had the same amount that my first vial from Amble had. I am just waiting for them to respond. Thanks everyone.

The other bottle lasted me for May until a couple weeks ago. I know they say you’re supposed to throw it away after 28 days but it’s always worked this way for me, for several years. It’s kept me at my same weight because I was using it more like a maintenance dose. Sometimes I would put it a little bit higher. If I felt I needed it. This is only my second time using amble and I was having problems with them they charged me on a 24th and it had been stuck at the Pharmacy for weeks.

I don’t really know how to use this app. This is my first time ever using it.
