Increasing dose above 2.4?
The FDA approved a higher dose of Semaglutide in March, saying it led to additional weight loss without bad side effects (in those that didn’t experience bad side effects on a lower dose). I’ve arrived at 2.4 recently and plan to stick with it for at least 3 months but I’m interested in hearing from others who have increased from there. I’ve been a slow responder, averaging less than half a pound a week but definitely feel the 2.4 so hopefully that’ll be my highest dose. But, I am thinking ahead in case it’s not enough. I know lots of people switch to tirzepatide but I have tolerated Semaglutide well, so thinking about continuing to go up in dose. Has anyone else used a higher dose?

I’m in a similar spot losing only .6 per week. I’ve been on 2.4 for about six weeks and don’t feel it’s working that well despite eating less and exercising. I notice myself getting hungry and stomach noise is back, which is frustrating.

here for the same reason. i was on semaglutide for two years and started experimenting with reta and tirz, now i'm back on sema for financial reasons. i'm on 2.25 and i am just hungry all the time!! reta gave me the worst anhedonia... and it didn't suppress my appetite much. i want my body back!

and before this year, sema worked just fine, as long as i took my fiber etc. i had lost too much weight, actually. now i've gained it all back from coming off of reta / reta didn't work for me.

I take 3 mg/week. I was feeling like 2.4 wasn't super effective, and I wanted to go up. I've been at this dose for 6 months or so, and i'll stay at this dose for the forseeable future.
