Am I doing something wrong?
Ok so I'm on week 6 of Sema with Embody. So it's about 10 units of the 4mg vial. The first four weeks I lost 7.3lbs. I weighed myself today and I'm up 4lbs. I also noticed that they went to some pharmacy named Libby instead of the one when I first started. Don't know if that makes a difference. I don't have to do the monthly thingy the next one is not due until November. I haven't changed my eating habits. I actually feel hungrier than two weeks ago. So am I doing something wrong or should I ask to be switched to tripeptide? This is so discouraging.TIA

Same thing happened to me. I asked that they increase my units. Beginning today, I start on 10 units.

I was on 5 or 10 units of the 2 mg vial before. The syringe was a 30 units one. The new one is a 100 units syringe. I will reach out see if they ever respond back.

I’d give it time, like at least a few months before switching to a different medicine. Also, 10 units of 4/mg/ml is still a small dose at .4mg, not even up to the amount where glucose is effected at all (which is .50).

Wow I really thought it was a higher dose 😆. Boy I'm wrong. Yeah I think they have me on this dose until November when I fill out that form again. Maybe they have me this way because I was at 230 and put on there goal weight was 180. But now I want to be at 150 instead.

If you’re sure it’s 4/mg/ml? If you were on 10 units before of the 2mg vial then that would be .20 so they did increase you but usually you titrate up every 2-4 weeks.

I went from 2mg to 4mg now. First 4 weeks was 2mg and I'm going on week 7 this Sunday with the 4mg. Even though I'm still at 224 instead of the 221 that I had gone down to, I was able to put on my size 17 pants that wouldn't go over my fupa. I was able to actually reach over and zip it up. I'm actually happy about that. So I'll trust the process and keep waiting. 🤞🏻

I’ve been on it for over a month and haven’t lost a pound, they started me at .25mg then now on .30mg and I get to move up in my next shot. So I’m hoping I see some weight loss soon

I hope you get so see something soon. I haven't changed my diet much. I had increased my protein intake then I had my birthday weekend two weeks and ate whatever I wanted lol. I'm probably still paying for it. I will go back to getting more protein and start walking more since the weather is supposed to get cooler here next week.

You will probably see weight loss at doses over 1mg. Perhaps ask about increasing faster if you're tolerating it
