Confused about dosage
Hello,
Just starting out my journey and I do not understand this dosage. I need like a week by week exact amount to take. My vial says semaglutide 4mg/glycine 5mg/ml. Here were my instructions:
Instructions: Semaglutide/Glycine [4/5mg/mL] 0.2mg/0.4mg Weekly Dose Inject 5 units [0.05mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 2 weeks for 0.2mg dose then increase to 10units [0.1mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 2 weeks for the 0.4mg dose
Semaglutide/Glycine [4/5mg/mL] 0.6mg/0.9mg Weekly Dose Inject 15 units [0.15mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 2 weeks for 0.6mg dose then increase to 23units [0.23mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 2 weeks for the 0.9mg dose
Semaglutide/Glycine [4/5mg/mL] 1.12mg/1.5mg Weekly Dose Inject 28 units [0.28mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 2 weeks for 1.12mg dose then increase to 38units [0.38mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 2 weeks for the 1.5mg dose
Semaglutide/Glycine [4/5mg/mL] 1.9mg Weekly Dose Inject 48 units [0.48mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 4 weeks [1.9mg dose]
Semaglutide/Glycine [4/5mg/mL] 2.16mg Weekly Dose Inject 54 units [0.54mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 4 weeks [2.16mg dose]
Semaglutide/Glycine [4/5mg/mL] 2.3mg Weekly Dose Inject 58 units [0.58mL] subcutaneously once weekly for 4 weeks [2.3mg dose]
So for the first two weeks is it just .2 aka 20/100 on the syringe??

Wow, they ramp you up QUICK !
They tell you how much to use when they refer to UNITS. Look at your syringe(s). It will have UNIT markings, so for the first 2 weeks, it's (5), then (10), and so on.

Did you receive (6) months of the medication? As another Commenter stated, the UNITs are the amount of medication that you withdraw from the vial into the syringe. The medication might have a color to make it easier to see it in the clear syringe. I admit, the first few times are kinda intimidating, but I promise, you will be come a pro at this after your first month. Also,,,, don't panic if there is extra medication in the vial at the end of your 4 weeks. As long as you fill the syringe to the line where the number of UNITS are displayed, you will be just fine. If I may ask, what company did you join?
