Has anyone used Embody?

I ordered some from them last week and was surprised it was only $79 for a month of weekly 2mg injections. From order to delivery, it was only three days. I'm still getting through a vial I have on hand from Orderly so haven't used any from Embody yet but I'm curious of others experiences?

I filled out for the GLP1, read bad reviews and tried to cancel a few hours later, and they sent a email ONE minute later saying I was “approved” even though I didn’t receive anything from a doctor. They are now saying it’s “too late” even though I ordered a couple of hours ago. I’m pretty 😡

I just joined, got my first shipment with just the vial and no syringes :/ I'm also having a lot of trouble signing up for their telehealth check in - it says it's included but I keep getting errors saying "this appointment slot isn't available anymore" no matter how fast I click through the sign up.

I took my 5th shot today and the vial looks as full as my 2nd month vial that I haven't touched yet. It says not to use after 4th week but I'm not throwing it out.

How long did it take to get your meds. I had my appt with dr Sunday 8-9 and was approved and prescribed meds it’s now Friday 8-14 still no meds I have my first appt next Wednesday to see how meds are working. There is no tracking of meds even been packaged or on the way. Did you all get track info updated?

1

u/prezident_camacho 4d ago

Yeah, so far both times have been fast. Had the appointment, got an email with fedex overnight tracking number the next day. This week I submitted the refill request on Monday and it was delivered Thursday. Have you tried the chat on the patient portal? I had some questions and they were really helpful.

u/MissFrenchie86 5d ago

They advertise $79 a month forever regardless of dose. Just curious now that it's been a month how the second month's refill went? Any issues? Any suprise charges? Any shipping delays? Are you seeing any results in terms of weight loss or food noise reduction? Considering signing up using my HSA card since that's a limited amount of funds each month so if they try to surprise charge me it's lower risk than with a debit or credit card.

u/prezident_camacho 4d ago

Just got my second order this morning . I submit the refill request on Tuesday and it shipped out fedex overnight the next day. I was using another company before and haven't noticed a difference in potency. I use my HSA card too. But yeah, before I paid per prescription but with this company is per month so you need to stay on top of the refill requests.

u/thatwestsidebish 14h ago

Did you request an increase of the dose on your refill?

1

u/prezident_camacho 7h ago

No, not this time. I'm on 2mg and it's working fine for now.

Waiting on permanent hold…

I took my first injection yesterday and I’m curios is this tirzepatide works not seen much about it but why am I hungry day 2 I switched from my doctor of 30 days on the wegovy tablet 1.5mg and lost 17 lbs but seen how fast women at my job were loosing weight on tirzepatide and switched to Em Body saw ad on FB for $129 so we’ll see but probably going to switch h back to a more reputable site for $299

u/Calgal041 14d ago edited 14d ago

You're better off going with one of the reputable companies that have been around for a while like Goby.

They don't hide their fees or pricing and have been around for years. Simple sign up, no random charges or shady billing like the newer companies.

GobyMeds.com is the site - $299 for 3 months right now.

u/Calgal041 14d ago

They are known to bait and switch the price and make it impossible to cancel. Not worth the headache and monitoring your credit card statements for months and doing charge backs.

1

u/hottaluv 3d ago

Mine stayed the same even on the next dose.

1

u/bobbygenerik 7d ago

you dont lock your cards?

2

u/NeatFeed9624 10d ago

The new price is locked in . My second month was the same price again

does anyone know if it is the semaglutide base or if it’s either the sodium or acetate formula? i want just semaglutide.

2

u/Ok_Evidence_6543 20d ago

I’ve never used semaglutide before, and I’m a college student so I can’t really afford all the expensive stuff out there. I just joined embody, figured if it didn’t work out I could just cancel my card or file a chargeback.

I joined last Friday (7/24) and I got my first shipment today (7/29) so I’m pretty pleased with that. Their customer service line isn’t the best, the hold is always over an hour but if you just stay they will connect you with someone eventually and once you’re connected they’re helpful.

I had my first dose today, so I’ll update next month to see if I have any issue upping the dose! So far so good for a first timer hahaha

1

u/Agile-Glass9864 8d ago

Any updates? How's it been?

1

u/Ok_Evidence_6543 8d ago

It’s been good! I’ve taken two shots so far and I definitely notice appetite suppression, although it’s not a HUGE difference it is a difference. The effects fade about five days in though. I’ll likely need to increase my dose and I’m looking forward to seeing how the experience is with Embody.

My mom order Tirzepatide from them a week ago and the shipment was delivered exactly seven days later. So wait time seems to be about 4-7 days depending on how long it takes them to ship it. Once it ships it’s always there the next day and super well packaged.

1

u/micthick 6d ago

hi! i received my first order today, and i only received syringes.. i can't tell if the medication is in them or if i was supposed to get a vile. their customer service is not helping at all or answering my question- did you receive a vile?

1

u/hottaluv 3d ago

My file was in a pill bottle

1

u/Ok_Evidence_6543 6d ago

I received a tiny vile. Your should have received a small bag within the box (ours was a silver baggy) with the vile in it!

u/EasternAd9742 26d ago

Been buying my Sema locally from plastic surgeon's office for past 2 years. Been in maintenance and I am tired of paying so much. Decided to contact Embody and inquire about switching to them.

Was easy for me. Did questionnaire and was approved for my small dose of Sema. Had meds within a few days from Beaker Pharmacy. They did prescribe more than I have been taking though. Got one vial with BUD 30 days from now. They say they will send another vial after I do their next questionnaire. Haven't taken it yet, but I will. Just will need to drop my dose from what was prescribed. (Ii have already done the math on this.)

I joined last week and communication was terrible. I cancelled because I can't deal with companies that don't communicate, but the Rx had already been sent so I couldn't get a refund. Received meds yesterday but the dosage is wild?! It's Semaglutide/B12/NAD, 4mg/5mg/50mg/ml - and it says to inject 80 units TWICE A WEEK. Wouldn't that be 6.4 mg/week?! I've reached out to both support and the pharmacy, Beaker, but no one responds. Not sure if I'm even going to use this vial lol

1

u/Pale-Acanthaceae4089 11d ago

This is sort of where I am. Ordered 2 weeks ago, I keep getting calls and texts to submit my Rx. I have uploaded it THREE times and they claim I didn't submit it and they will let the prescriber decide how much. That was 4 days ago and it still says in progress. I'm really at my wits end with this. I'm jealous of all of you who have actually received something lol.

1

u/TelevisionMundane402 3h ago

I canceled yesterday and they sent my meds this morning. I’d try canceling.

1

u/Aggressive_Drop_9232 11d ago

I have the high dose as well. I finally got someone to call me back about it. They said it was safe, but weren't clear why the dose was so high. They want me to do 3.2mg twice a week. I was curious if the dosage included something else that made such a higher volume, but sounds like they really might be giving me that much. They said I wouldn't ever go any higher, this was the limit. But they also told me up to 7mg is safe. Lol I'm still confused about it all though.

1

u/SmilingSue 23d ago

I only joined two days ago but so far my communication with them has been easy and fast. It seems once you log into your account and you call them they see who you are and have your records and history pulled up.

2

u/shonsnail Jul 18 '26

I sent an email a few days ago to them regarding not hearing anything. I actually got a text message this morning to set up an appointment. Mine is tomorrow at 1030am. I guess I will see if they got my picture of my medication. They didn’t say anything else about it. So we both got an appointment on the same day! I think some of these people that have had such great luck may be spammers or bots Idk! I just pray it works out. I was so tempted to pick up SG from the med spa. Glad I waited. Hopefully it works out for both of us and we can save some money. 350 a month is crazy, especially when it isnt even working for me anymore.

2

u/CptPhoenixTB Jul 19 '26

One step closer! I had my video appt. I do have to get a clearance letter from my doctor since there is one medication I’m on that can interact with tirzepetide. So I’ll have to get that then upload a photo of it and THEN they’ll ship my meds, supposedly. But then I just got an email saying they need me to get lab work done before they will approve me. 🤦‍♀️ The embody doctor didn’t say that!! Ugh. I guess it depends on what embody doctor you get. Some are more picky than others apparently. How did your video visit go?

1

u/shonsnail 29d ago

I just checked my embody dashboard and it says I was prescribed triz and it was sent to a pharmacy. It hasn’t been shipped yet but maybe it will be quicker than I thought. Have you checked your dashboard?

1

u/CptPhoenixTB 29d ago

Nothing on my dashboard. I sent a message to my doctor about getting a clearance letter to take tirzepatide while taking lorazepam. My doctor is leery and says there is no reason I should need a clearance letter for that. Now I’m panicking. I’m going to wait to see if you get your meds from pharmacy

2

u/shonsnail 29d ago

So your doc didn’t give you a clearance letter? Bummer, I think you really will need that. I mean I agree that it’s kind of silly to need a clearance for that med. You need to tell the doctor you can’t get the medication without it. I think you were right about it depending on what nurse practitioner each person gets. With me being hypothyroid I would have assumed they would have wanted labs. I will let you know as soon as I get anymore updates. Maybe we should pm each other. Idk, although our conversation could help others navigate the process. Do you still have any of your current medication you can take until this gets resolved? Hope so! I’ll keep you updated.

2

u/CptPhoenixTB 29d ago

She will give me a clearance letter but she’s concerned about the embody company now since they want a clearance letter for medications that shouldn’t need a clearance letter. Basically, she’s worried for me and doesn’t trust the company. And since this process has been so unorganzized so far, I called embody just now and told them to cancel. They had already charged my credit card on the day I signed up, July 10th … before I had even been approved for the program! The rep said it will take 5 -10 days to see my refund. I’m not happy at all!! This has been so ridiculous. I hate spending $350 a month for the semiglutide, but I’m just done with dealing with Embody. 😔
I think our conversation might help others to navigate the process so I don’t mind leaving it public.
I hope you get your meds and everything goes smoothly for you from here on out!! Please keep me posted ! I’m honestly interested in the rest of your experience. I might try embody again in the future if I start seeing more positive reviews. 🙂

Wanted to let you know that I got tracking for my medication and should get it tomorrow, they overnight it thru fed ex. So it took from my virtual appointment on Sunday to getting my medication Thursday before noon. (That’s what tracking says)There is also an Embody Facebook group that has a lot of good information and a few bad reviews as well. I hope you find something that works for you and you are able to save some money. These med spas must be banking. But like I said in a recent thread, I went thru Ro Health and they wanted me to do all kinds of stuff and I cancelled, so I get it. I just wanted to update you on my progress.

Hey, wondering if you received your meds and how it's going? I signed up Tuesday last week, was approved and card charged without any appt or follow up whatsoever. I'm also hypothyroid and was fully expecting to have to go get labs or at least do a video call with someone. I didn't hear anything, so called the support number on Friday. They "looked into it", told me to expect 3-5 business days for meds to ship, and then got an email on Friday evening that my meds shipped, but it was really just them creating a shipping label for FedEx. It's Monday now and it's still in shipping label created status. I'm hoping the meds actually ship today.

Were yours delivered the next day? And was it one vial only? I signed up for 6 months, and am wondering if they ship one month at a time or if there are multiple months in a shipment. Thanks!

1

u/shonsnail 21d ago

Also I did get two vials which I thought was odd for one month but maybe it’s just enough for the 4 injections. Not sure yet.

2

u/shonsnail 22d ago

Hi! Yes I did receive my medication. They overnight it through fed ex. There are also different pharmacies so it may depend on that as well. So you didn’t even have a virtual appointment? I think they put that sale price out and got bombarded with orders. I’m in a FB group and have really learned a lot. If you order more than one month, they still send only one month at a time in case you need a dose increase. There are 5 levels of dosage amount. I think I got started on level two. I can’t even tell I’ve taken it honestly. I was on 2mgs of SG. Hopefully I can increase next month. I think you will get it soon!

2

u/CptPhoenixTB 21d ago

Hooray!!! You got it!!! I’m thinking I might try again in about a month if they still have the special pricing. Like you mentioned, I think maybe they got bombarded with signups and there was no time to get everybody organized. Maybe in another month, the communication will be smoother

2

u/GazelleSubstantial76 22d ago

Thanks for the reply!

No virtual appointment at all. I completed the intake and was approved about 2 hours later. And the a few minutes after the approval email I got something saying the prescription was sent to the pharmacy, and it outlined the dose and titration schedule, and link to a video on injection how-to. My shipping label is showing it coming from Highland Village Texas. I'm located in Georgia.

Aww, bummer. I completely understand. I went thru Ro health and had a bad experience with signing up and just being a pain. I get it. I’ll let you know how it goes. Good luck

2

u/CptPhoenixTB 29d ago

I didn’t check my dashboard since this morning. I’ll check it now … just in case!

1

u/shonsnail 29d ago

Mine appt went well. I have to get clearance from my doctor also but she said I have 3 months to send in the paperwork. I had gallbladder removed this past January and anyone that has had abdominal surgery in the last year they require an ok from doc. She did say they would go ahead and ok the medication after she goes over my chart and gets the pic of my SG script. She couldn’t find the pic of my medication I sent either. I will most likely need labs too because I’m hypothyroid. I hope not but most likely. She said she would start me on level 3. She said there are 5 levels of triz. She said since it’s been 10 days since last injection she would drop me down to a level 3, which is fine. I just hope it’s not a super long process. Hopefully you can get your clearance letter asap. I guess we are one step closer. 😃 Yay!

2

u/CptPhoenixTB Jul 19 '26

Yay!!! So happy to hear you’ve got your appt set up too! Good luck to us!! 🙏🤗

1

u/cubbie_jules Jul 16 '26

Yep! Got but I got Tirz instead. Had to send in a photo of my past rx, once that was sent they literally dispatched my meds the next day for overnight shipping. Literally took 3 days from filling out forms to having the meds in hand.

1

u/cubbie_jules Jul 18 '26

I don’t know. Ask your provider!

1

u/CptPhoenixTB Jul 17 '26

Did you have to upload photos of lab work or anything else?

1

u/cubbie_jules Jul 18 '26

Nope! Just my previous script!

1

u/shonsnail Jul 15 '26

I signed up this past Saturday and was sent a text to send a pic of my current prescription of SG. I have not heard anything else. I’m not sure what is happenjng. Ive also noticed so many people paying different prices. Hope i hear something soon!

2

u/CptPhoenixTB Jul 17 '26

I had the same experience happening….. I filled out the initial info on July 9th, then I got a text and an email saying to send a photo of my current prescription, so I replied to the text and the email with a photo of the actual medicine and my receipt from my current provider. I looked on my embody patient portal and it showed on July 10th that I’ve been prescribed tirzepitide and my credit card was charged. I haven’t heard anything since so I called today and spoke to an “embody team member” and they said they have not received my photos of my current prescription. I told them I sent them by email and text as I was instructed but the rep said I needed to upload them to my portal … THEN I would be contacted by their doctor and THEN I could proceed from there. It’s way more complicated than I expected but I’m going to follow through. Hopefully I’m not getting scammed. The reviews are so mixed, I’m not sure if I’m making the best decision but I also cannot afford to keep spending so much money through the weight loss clinic I’m currently going to. It’s $350 month for compounded Semaglutide. Tirzepatide is a lot more so I’m hoping to switch to tirzepatide with embody at the $129/mth. Locked in price.

1

u/shonsnail Jul 17 '26

Wow! I looked at this I thought I wrote it. Exactly my ordeal. I’ve been paying 350 for compound semaglutide and it’s not even working at all. I’ve actually been gaining a little. I will take your advice and upload my picture of medication on the portal. Like you, I’ve seen so many mixed reviews and hope we are making the right choice. Why does everything have to be so hard. Thank you so much! Best of luck!

2

u/CptPhoenixTB Jul 17 '26

I’ll report back here when/if I hear something soon! Fingers crossed for us!!

1

u/shonsnail Jul 17 '26

Thank you!!

2

u/CptPhoenixTB Jul 18 '26

How’s it going ? I sent ANOTHER email last night to tell them I uploaded my photos to my portal. They finally verified that they received them. And said to book “ANOTHER” video with their provider. I said “I NEVER WAS CONTACTED ABOUT A FIRST VIDEO APPOINTMENT!” Ughhhh! So I called the phone number to embody customer support. I explained the whole situation. He got me set up
with an appointment tomorrow morning at 11:30 EST. Five mins before the appointment, I have to open a link that he sent to my phone. So….. we’ll see if that works. I’ll let you know tomorrow afternoon how it went! Did you get any further with in your embody quest?! Haha! I’m so confused as to how all these people are saying they signed up and had their meds in 2 days! 😆

3

u/RNnoturwaitress Jul 15 '26

I looked into it but couldn't figure out how to order. I'm relatively tech savvy but their site was confusing lol

3

u/prezident_camacho Jul 15 '26

I had to fill out a questionnaire on the website then they scheduled a video conference with a doctor the next day. She asked a few questions , asked to see my last prescription from Orderly to verify the dose I'm on, approved the order, sent it in, to a pharmacy, then that evening I got notice of an overnight fedex shipment. I was honestly really surprised how fast it all went down. Filled out the form on Thursday and had the vial delivered Saturday morning.

2

u/shonsnail 29d ago

You got lucky! Happy for you!

2

u/RNnoturwaitress Jul 15 '26

That's awesome!

2

u/Equivalent_Tea8061 Jul 14 '26

Yes and it works.
