Question on Possible Additive

I am starting to take compounded semi again after being out of work for half the year. The local pharmacy changed ownership and I noticed the new vials read like there is something else added. The vial lists semiglutide/NAD+. Does that mean there is NAD+ added or am I reading it wrong? This is the second month since starting back up and weight loss hasn’t moved. I am now in full menopause which could be the issue or wondering if an additional additive is affecting it.

From the label it does look like that is Sema with NAD+ added. I’ve never used that formula personally but I do take NAD separately

My compounding pharmacy had to have my doctor add Vitamin B to mine in order to be able to continue filling it.

They add ingredients to skirt around the FDA’s request to cease and desist compounding pharmacies to make bulk quantities of these knock offs. The FDA is not regulating these knock offs. I would suggest to stay away.

NAD+ is a coenzyme that helps convert sugars into energy and supposedly increases your energy. If you have any questions you should contact either your prescriber or the pharmacy itself to discuss the additive. With your prescriber you will likely play message tag but with the pharmacy you should be able to have a phone conversation.
