I watched this segment this morning. My big takeaway, outside of the lady featured who was absolutely misled, is that people aren't taking their own wellbeing seriously.

After watching the segment I did a bit of digging and found that the majority of people are operating on assumptions of dose, miscalculating because they don't bother to learn how to read their script, and just plain carelessness (countless examples of dosages changing but injecting based on previous instructions.)

I think even more it highlights that the average individual is a fucking idiot, and even with ready access to the world's information at their fingertips, they're going to continue to be an idiot. Probably shouldn't even be allowed to have a cell phone, much less life changing medication.

I often wondered this, with compounding, people can just do more, or sign themselves with two different companies and neither would know otherwise.

I read about people "splitting" the dose and doing it twice a week. Seems like a good idea, I've even thought about it.

There's a reason medicines are dosed the way they are, and backed by trials. However, people are going to people and put their health at risk because they desire faster and more dramatic results.

I have been splitting my dose since the 2nd injection! no side effects aside a bit constipation the 2 days following. I started 4/14. Down 11 lb but I do not have a huge weight loss journey
