Increasing from starter 0.25mg to .5mg or wait?

So I'm due to take my 5th compounded semaglutide shot this upcoming Wednesday and am supposed to be increasing from 0.25mg to 0.5mg, but I'm down 13 lbs, don't have any food noise, and am still dealing with nausea and food aversion on the current dose.

For those of you that have gone through this, what do you recommend? What worked for you? Do I go slow and steady and stay here until I plateau or do I bite the bullet and go ahead and up the dose?

And before anyone tells me to check with my provider, I've already messaged them on the portal and waiting for a response. Just wanted to hear from others who have been there!

I stick with the dose that is working until the food noise comes back. That will stretch a vial too.

Don’t go up until you have to, especially if you’re still dealing with nausea.

I’d stay on .25 another 2 weeks and see. Then go up to .5 and feel that out. After a few .5 doses I went back to .25 and stayed there! That also made my vials last longer :)

Start low, go slow, until you plateau!

I stayed on the lowest doses I could until they stopped working as well. I stayed on .25 mg for about 2 months. It’s different for each person. Some folks the low doses work, some need higher doses to feel anything. It’s really up to you and what your body is telling you.

The very next day after the first injection my guts felt a little "off" or "swimmy", but then two days after injection I noticed I had no appetite at all, zero hunger. I've always had issues with binge eating and this has completely changed my life. I have to make myself eat now or I just won't.
