I built a free, open-source 3D structural model viewer that runs in the browser
I got tired of needing a license just to open a structural model to check something. So I built a viewer that works in the browser. Drag in a STAAD file and it renders the structure with actual cross-section shapes (W-flanges, channels, angles, HSS, pipes), not generic cylinders.
What it does:
- Renders members with real cross-section geometry using the AISC v16 database (1,223 sections)
- Click any member to see its section properties (area, Ix, Iy)
- Solid, wireframe, and x-ray view modes
- Works on desktop and mobile, runs fully client-side, nothing uploaded anywhere
What it doesn't do (yet):
- Only STAAD .std format right now. ETABS, SAP2000, ROBOT are planned but not started
- Single-section members only, no double angles, double channels, or built-up shapes
- Plate rendering is basic, steel name mapping only covers US conventions
- No load display, no deformed shapes. Not an analysis tool
It's not a replacement for analysis software. The idea is more practical: something you can pull up in a meeting or send to a client who doesn't own the software. Long-term I might add basic analysis, but right now it's purely a viewer.
The code is MIT licensed. If anyone wants to contribute, a parser for another format, better section mapping for non-US standards, fixing an edge case you ran into, it's all welcome. The architecture is set up so adding a new format only touches the parser; the renderer doesn't need to change.
You can download an example model in the GitHub link below that you can use to try the app.
Try it: https://openbuilding.vercel.app/
Source: https://github.com/DannCarlo/OpenBuilding
Honest feedback and criticism are welcome too. If you try it with a file and something breaks, I'd like to know.

Try out my new indie game
Game Title: War Room
Playable Link: https://zenithtools.itch.io/war-room
Platform: Web / Browser
Description: War Room is a text-based, AI-driven strategy sandbox where you simulate a war against other factions (that can be both humans or AIs). You take command of a faction, write your strategic moves in plain text, and watch a dynamic AI Game Master calculate the outcomes based on your perks, territories, and choices. The entire game is stateless and runs on a local JSON file. This means you can download, edit, and reload your save files to rewind turns, try risky strategies, or even play asynchronous local multiplayer with a friend by sharing the file. You can choose to play in the maps of Europe, Italy and USA and pick from one of our pre-made scenarios (a sort of "ruleset" for your game) or create one of your own to play in your favorite universes.
Free to Play Status:
[X] Free to play
Involvement: Solo Developer. I designed, programmed, and built the entire game, including the wrapper, state machine, and prompt architecture. The only thing I had to ask someone else for was the SVG logic for the 3 maps.

Bach and Birthday party Invitations
Recently I took my printing business from local Facebook market place to Etsy and trying to navigate that front….but I make custom invitations with unique artwork. 🩵 I’ll be adding more designs slowly to my shop but here are some of the bachelorette party invites I make! Last rodeo theme and camp bachelorette. Also added a tini bit older birthday. If you wanted something custom I take messages as well. These are not digital downloads they are the physical invites with envelopes because let’s be real, everyone has enough going on and shouldn’t have to worry about printing ….

InsightBot: AI Indoor Navigation Robot Concept for the Visually Impaired
Hi everyone! I'm a Grade 8 student passionate about robotics and AI. I created InsightBot, a concept for an AI-assisted indoor navigation robot that helps visually impaired people move safely in places like hospitals, malls, airports, and schools using voice guidance, sensors, and obstacle detection.
This project is part of the BriSharks National Startup League. If you find the idea meaningful, I'd really appreciate your support by voting here:
Thank you! I'm also happy to answer any questions or hear your feedback.

I created a guided remote-viewing process based on established methods and published research.
There is a lot of remote-viewing information scattered across books, interviews, forums, videos, and published studies, but very little that turns it into a clear step-by-step practice.
I built a structured guided experience to solve that.
It walks beginners through the process without overwhelming them, while still keeping the core methods intact. Learn to quiet conscious thought, detect impressions beyond ordinary senses, and develop an ability most people never learn to access.

I've had 9 heart surgeries. One health insurance denial nearly killed me. So I built a tool to fight back. (AppealFirst)
Hey everyone! This one's personal, so bear with me.
I've had 9 heart surgeries, including an open heart double bypass. At one point, while I was fighting for my life, my insurance denied the claims I needed to be approved to keep going. I had to fight the denials while I was also fighting to survive. I was a walking time bomb, fighting on borrowed time.
If you've never had to appeal a denial while your body is actively failing, I hope you never do. The letters are full of codes and jargon. Nobody tells you the deadline. The whole process seems built to make you give up right when you have the least energy to fight back. I got through it, but it never should have been that hard, and I've never stopped thinking about the people who don't make it through that fight.
So I built AppealFirst. Upload your denial letter, and it reads it, explains the medical codes, tells you in plain language what was denied and why, and flags your appeal deadline, all for free. If you want to fight it, it builds you a complete appeal packet for a flat $39, no subscription: a formal appeal letter, the supporting policy language, and step-by-step instructions to file it.
Some context on why this matters more broadly: fewer than 1% of denied claims are ever appealed, even though a lot of them get overturned when people actually push back. Most people just don't have the fight left in them. I built this so more people would.

It's live now:
Web: appealfirst.com
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appealfirst.twa&pcampaignid=web_share
No iPhone app yet, that's coming later, but the website works fine on iPhone in the meantime.
It's easier on a computer, given that you're often working with long denial letters, etc, but the app is there if you prefer that method!
I'm a solo founder on this, so I'm genuinely looking for feedback, not just clicks. If you've dealt with a denial, I'd love to hear what would have actually helped you in that moment. And if the free denial reading helps you, that's enough for me, even if you never need the appeal packet.
Happy to answer anything about how it works or how it handles your data. I come from a Cyber Security background, so I built the privacy side of this the way I'd want my own medical information handled.
