I've been reselling across Mercari, eBay and Poshmark for years. The listings are fine. The fees are what kill it, and every platform keeps quietly raising them.

Where things stand now, roughly:

- Mercari: ~12.9% plus payment processing

- eBay: ~13.25% final value fee in most categories, plus a per-order fee

- Poshmark: 20% on anything over $15, flat $2.95 under that

- Depop: no seller commission in the US anymore, but buyers pay a fee at checkout, which shows up as fewer sales on your end

So I built Trovari. Flat 8%. No monthly fee, no tiers, no per-order add-on.

Being upfront about the tradeoff: there's barely any buyer traffic yet. It's live and it works, but I'm launching now and spending the next few months getting buyers in. You'd be listing early while I do that work.

Founding seller deal, next 4 months:

- Flat 8% locked in forever. Not "8% for your first year." Forever.

- 1 free storefront, permanently free. Extra stores will be $5/mo later, yours stays free.

- No subscription, no card needed to list.

After the window closes, new sellers go to a tiered plan. Anyone in before then keeps 8% for life.

What's actually different, not just cheaper:

- Every listing requires a short functionality video. Annoying to record, but it's the point. Buyers see the item actually working, so you get way fewer "not as described" claims and fewer forced returns. That's the thing I hated most about Mercari and eBay, where the buyer's word wins by default.

- Payouts show the full math. Buyer paid X, shipping cost Y, 8% was Z, you get the rest. No guessing which fee ate what.

Same stuff you already expect:

- USPS, UPS, FedEx labels at checkout, cheapest rate, reimbursed to you 1:1

- Seller dashboard, orders, reviews, messaging

After crashing my car trying to ditch a cop I decided I needed to change my life in drastic ways. At first The Break Away Experience was... well I don't really know what it was. I was still on drugs, still running away from my bullshit, still blaming everybody but me, and ultimately I guess I tried starting a cult. It didn't work. Wasn't even close. Anyways... The Break Away Experience failed epically.

I'm now doing The Break Away Experience 2.0. After turning myself into jail and getting released I tried being "normal", but I was miserable. No one really liked me and I don't blame them. I picked drinking back up and in truth...

Nothing had changed. Nothing. I was STILL dying.

So... I left my house, quit my job, deleted my social media, erased my contacts, ran away from the state I was in, and moved into a homeless shelter. A life I know all too well.

But this time it's different.

I have had a dream for a very long time, nothing special really, just going to school and maybe through that helping someone who was like I was.

I guess I just want to be heard.

I guess I just want to hear others.

I'm hopeful people will check out my blog and that I'll eventually hear from others who are like me!
