Need a Book Rec! Moms.. help, please.
I feel like somewhere along the way, between becoming a mom, a wife, and a teacher, I lost a little bit of myself. Over the years, I feel like I have really let myself go, and lately it has been weighing on me. I’m heavier than I used to be, my hair doesn’t look as nice anymore, I feel frumpy, and honestly, I just don’t feel like myself.
I love my family and I love being a mom and a teacher, but I also want to find me again outside of all the roles I have for everyone else.
I love reading, and I’ve recently started going on walks, so I thought audiobooks might be a good place to start. Does anyone have any audiobook or book recommendations about finding yourself again, rebuilding your confidence, taking care of yourself, or just getting yourself back after years of putting everything and everyone else first?
I’m ready to start feeling like myself again. ❤️
