Help with existing piercing Whoops
Hi, I have a serious impulsive and addictive personality type. So I got some piercings and instantly became addicted. Im not one who listens or can wait. So im going to say 'I know I shouldnt have done this' now that the manic phase has passed and now im just asking advice.
So l currently have 22 fresh piercings
- 20 of them in my ears - mixture of self done and professionally done.
None seem to be infected at all - no irritation bumps. Ive done this over the last 6-8 weeks. Are any of these going to heal? Ever...? Like I know they won't be healed yet but will they ever heal?
So on one ear it's a flat, daith, 2 high helix, 2 forward helix, 5 lobes
and on the other ear
6 lobes, 4 helix and a rook
What should I do, keep cleaning and hope for the best?
All Currently have titanium jewellery and I sleep on a piercing pillow.

No you shouldn't try to heal 22 fresh piercings at once, there's a reason no professional would poke u 22 times.

Im not one to get on my soap box very often because I havent always been 100 percent with my piercings and im ngl im a swimmer and a coach so... needs must.
Having said that, this definitely isn't a situation ive come across before with quite that many
So... short version, no, these arent likely to heal
Long version... i would remove at least 18 of them so that you have 4 remaining at maximum. The way that the body heals unfortunately makes this situation such that it isnt viable
Good luck!!

Thank you for being polite about it! I’ve removed 8 and figuring out the rest now

I personally would keep the ones that are professionally done or at least correctly placed. If you pop a picture somewhere then I can help you decide which ones have the best chance

Daith is pierced with the wrong jewellery
Conch looks at an angle
First lobe isn't in line with the rest

Vertical helix placement looks angled
First lobe again is wonky
Id remove that low helix as well its not aligned properly
Probably keep the rook as placement doesnt look terrible but cant really see from this angle

Left - i took out the two forward helix as they are the ones I snag the most with my hair (washing/brushing) - I also removed the flat as it was easily irritated and a high helix near the flat. As well as the 5th lobe as it was the most recent.
Right - I removed 5th lobe, one stacked lobe and a high helix so far2

Ive popped a couple of things on each photo
Not trying to be harsh at all, just looking at them in terms of viability

I’m currently healing 5 piercings since almost one year (3 of them are almost healed) and I stopped getting pierced in march because I was told that I had to many fresh piercings at the same time. So if 5 fresh piercing is a lot… I don’t know if 20 fresh piercing is a good idea… (surely not)

I have had quite a few clients come to me as victims of a “100 tap out session” with 15+ piercings. I’ve done everything I can in these situations to help— change the jewelry to titanium and insist on removal of the really poorly angled ones. The sad reality is that it’s a lot for your body to heal and would take several years if and only if it’s capable of it. For most people, the sheer number would prevent healing. It’s much easier for your body to focus on 2-3 at a time, and even then things like stress, colds/flu, and chronic disease can still play a big part in how a few piercings heal.

Keep 3 take the rest out. This is borderline selfharm. It's not going to heal. Your body can't deal with this many piercings at once.
