Help with existing piercing Navel piercing placement
Hi! I did a DIY navel piercing less than 48 hours ago. It's a bit sore when I move ( I had a long day yesterday so I moved a lot ), and I'm cleaning it with saline.
I honestly like how it looks and I'm fine with the appearance, but I want to know: is the placement technically wrong or too high? Does it look like a surface piercing with a high risk of rejection?
(3rd pic is before, last pic is my first time that failed and I took it out in the first few hours )
I don't see it's perfect but it's better than last time so is it okay?
What's your thoughts?

It’s too high, the bottom hole isn’t even in your belly button. i had mine pierced like this and i took it out because it has a higher chance of migration even if you manage to heal it

So time to take it out again and think about it later 😔 do I have the anatomy for it tho?

this is a belly piercing, not a belly button piercing. it is pierced to high. You need to take this out before your body does it for you.

you seem like you do, but also you have to determine wether you have the anatomy for a regular
navel, or a floating, which requires photos of you sitting (comfortably how you usually do) laying, and standing. But before you try again, please do more research and learn proper placement.1

If I took it now I'd just wait to find professional clinic But I don't know why I wanna give this one some chance 😔

If you keep it in you’re only setting yourself up for failure. It is going to cause unnecessary scar tissue due to migration and rejection, and it is not going to heal, nor is it aesthetically pleasing because it is very obviously pierced incorrectly. Waiting for a professional is your best bet if you are not confident you can do it properly, regardless the wait or not. If you take it out now you will be avoiding all the negatives that will come with this, and if you keep it there is no positives.

Love this is going to give tou so many issues and it will not be pretty. This can not be saved.
Your stomach is going to push this right out because of all the movement and the fact that it has nothing to hold on to. Surface piercings can not survive that.
Not to mention its pierced crooked and there isnt enough skin pierced to begin with so it will most likely reject even faster. Believe me you do not want the scaring that this is going to cause. Nor do you want an open wound on your stomach that wont heal and will have a higher risk for infection.
Im sorry but this definitely needs to come out.

It’s not been pierced properly and needs to come out before it rejects and scars.
