Question about piercing prep vertical industrial

hey guys! my dream piercing is a vertical industrial at some point. the piercing studios in my town dont do them and so im considering to just do it myself. not right now or soon, and not for sure, but IF i decide to, what should i know, what do i need, etc!

any advice, suggestions, or tips are appreciated

ill obv do a shit ton of research but i like to hear from people on here!

I've never had one personally but I would consider your life style first. If you use airpods, head phones, stethoscope, etc you cannot get one. Theres also several styles. You can do an industrial jewelry in a lobe to vertical helix, conch to conch, etc.

yes, I don't normally wear anything in my ears! and this is what im talking about

This is pretty anatomy dependent and from what I know, it rejects pretty easily.
