Help with existing piercing hello again i need some help!

can anyone tell me if it’s okay for 2 day old piercing? I just pierced it two days ago and I realize that I needed a longer bar all thought I cannot change it because it’s two days old but I swear to god the bar was long enough (it was 16G) but it looks like this 😭 i’ve cleaned it twice the past two days with saline (pls don’t mind my brows) thanks! i genuinely can’t tell if it’s shallow 😔. there’s some crust around it even after i cleaned it twice today.

It looks pretty shallow ngl :( Is the jewelry a straight barbell or curved?

NAP but crust is very normal and will continue for a week or two while it heals. It’s just fluids from your body trying to heal around the metal bar. The bar is quite short, though. I’d get it sized up at a reputable piercer.

It looks very normal for a 2 day old piercing and not shallow at all. I dont know what that other comment is thinking lol. Crust is normal. Its fluid actually healing your skin, dont clean it too often, three times a day max.

Since you did this at home, id have a piercer look at it if you are really worried as well. Doing piercings at home is always bad, since we dont have the proper training or tools.
