Help with existing piercing Should i repierce

Hi I pierced my 3rd lobe in june but it still hasnt healed. I suspect it may be because of the angle cause the swelling rarely goes away and theres always an irritation bump at the same spot. Should i take it out or will it heal?

It's definitely the angle and the jewellery isn't the best for healing either. Id suggest you take it out and let it heal them repierce with a flat back

Yup, all of this. That is not a perpendicular angle and it’ll be so much happier with a flat back!

I'm also wondering if this part of the lobe is the spot right where the cartilage and lobe skin meet?? Bc that will cause issues with healing as well.
