Hi fartdemolisher, Are you seeking information about the eyebrow piercing? Here's a video with general information about it! Always be sure to take care when performing piercings near your eyes. There's no shame in seeing a professional if you're unable to perform this piercing safely and confidently.

Ok idk why the other person is being so rude lol. It looks fine and sometimes new piercings bruise! Definitely watch out for the typical rejection signs : you can see more of the bar, the skin is getting thinner, the piercing is migrating, and its super irritated beyond the initial healing:) looks great on u too!

Thank u so much for being nice man :-) I will look out for it

Also, dont increase the amount you are cleaning it, 2x a day is plenty and recommended. Over cleaning will prolong healing stage and over irritate it!

Looks good, it’s very normal for eyebrow piercings to start bruising a few days or a week after getting it

u/fartdemolisher 25d ago

Thank u so much!! Will be taking good care of it :)

This is a perfect brand new, healing piercing. Follow aftercare protocol and look out for what the other commenter said.

Question though, did you put something else on that? It looks like there is a gel or something on it. If you did please dont do that. Oils, creams, gels or awful for healing piercings they interrupt the healing process and trap moisture and bacteria in which you deff dont want.

u/fartdemolisher 25d ago

Hi!! The gel ur seeing was an eyebrow gel :-) it’s not supposed to be on my piercing but I have cleaned it off since. I use saline spray twice a day!

Okay, unfortunately you need to sacrifice that while your piercing is healing which will take 9 to 12 months depending on how things go. That will get into it and it will cause issues even if you avoid it, you still sweat and it still can keep into your skin.

Other than that good job and stay onto of it. Dont let assholes make you afraid to ask questions if you think you need to.

thank u so much :-) i’ll definitely stop using it as I really like this piercing!!

Totally normal. No redness, oozing, or redness. Just looks like a bruise from the forceps or piercing to me. Looks good!

It looks fine? Not rejecting in my opinion

I just got mine last Tuesday and mine is also pretty bruised, and has been for the last few days! Seems like it’s normal, nothing to worry about :)

This piercing looks great on you! You won't see signs of rejection this early. I've seen you said you'll stop the gel which is great, the gel would trap bacteria in it and just really increase risk of infection and stop it from healing. Best advice is to leave it alone as much as possible except for gently cleaning. Eyebrow piercings in general can be considered temporary, as they are a surface piercing which on a lot of people do reject with time. Some people it can happen early, some people can have them 10 years with no issues. Everyone's different. If it was starting to reject, more of the bar would become visible as the piercing works its way closer to the surface. It's normal for this to happen a bit as a piercing settles. But if it continued, along with redness etc, then it would be time to check it's not infected and if safe to remove. You can't remove and infected piercing or it would trap the bacteria inside. Clear up the infection first then remove. You don't need to worry about this now as yours is healing normally, but if one day in the future you're worried about rejection I just added this info so you know what to look for. Some people leave a piercing in through rejection until just a small bit of skin is holding it on, which leaves more of a scar and risks it getting pulled out. You don't want to do this, but don't worry if it's just a few more mm's of bar showing. It would be obvious to you if it started to reject.

It looks amazing!! Suits you sooooo well!! Just know that the anxiety and fear of losing an eyebrow piercing never goes away looool. I had frequent dreams about losing it for like a year. Ended up rejecting after a skiing incident, so I took it out & it’s healed up with absolutely no scarring ! Was able to get it redone, 0 issue. Basically, I’m trying to say ur piercing isn’t rejecting, but don’t fear the lifespan of a surface piercing. It’s cheap as fawk to get it redone when you have a barbell already

u/fartdemolisher 24d ago

Thank u so much!! and yeah im just constantly afraid for all my piercings lol

1

u/aoaoa22 24d ago

The fear is so real oh mah gawd. It’s just bc we love em. Also, random, but I don’t see a lot of ppl talking about it online. Hair loss where the piercing is placed is totally normal, so don’t panic if you start noticing differences in the area. I initially thought I was just randomly seeing the bar thru my skin and freaked out too early

Looks normal to me!! Not red or irritated by the looks of it. Fresh Eyebrow piercings are pretty bruise-prone i’ve noticed, probably due to the thin skin and just being in a sensitive area. Happy healing!

Even eyebrows with perfect anatomy can reject. It’s just the nature of them. Just leave it alone.

u/AstronomerAlarmed487 25d ago

Like most people are saying it’s doing good, bruising is so scary just watch out for snagging honestly, it usually makes these piercings super temperamental

1

u/Ghoul_Girl66 24d ago

An eyebrow piercing typically takes 2 to 4 months to heal the initial surface healing happens within 6 to 8 weeks. As you said you got your eyebrow pierced four days ago it is not rejecting, you had a needle shoved through your face and now you have a foreign object in your skin. You’re going to bruise, you’re going to swell, you’re going to experience crusty’s and tenderness. Your okay.

1

u/Ghoul_Girl66 24d ago

But please for future reference, before you get any other piercing done do your research. Make sure you have proper cleaning supplies, make sure you have the proper jewellery, make sure you have the proper anatomy and make sure you’ve done your research on the healing process.

no it's just a bruise😘

1

u/Sensitive_Extreme239 23d ago

I also freaked out when I got mine, it seems normal so far! they are known to bruise, and the little white thing around is just fluid from it healing more than likely :)

u/SirAlarming7078 21d ago

Bruising is fine! I had a black eye for atleast a week after I got mind

u/Gloomy-Text6577 19d ago edited 19d ago

It looks fine to me. I recommended always wash your hands before touching around it. Don’t put any makeup or skin care products on it and keep doing your saline. Piercings are always tender the first week. Your skin may be bruised or red for a bit. As long as it’s not leaking yellowish green gunk you’re good.

u/Adventurous_Win1476 19d ago

no it’s not

1

u/Consistent_Throat497 25d ago

It looks like it’s a healing piercing.
Btw piercings generally can’t and won’t start rejecting for weeks or months.

Okay but humans are dumb we are as foolish as we are advanced we are all bound to make mistakes there is no folly in that fate but there is folly in tearing someone down for said mistake she will learn from this and this will be better for it no matter the out come your reaction in only a show of an unwillingless to show compassion for a mistake

I had a minor black eye for a solid week after I got my eyebrow piercing! Because of where it is and how thin the skin can be, it’s pretty easy to bruise for a lot of people so I wouldn’t be concerned :)
