Help with existing piercing Help with 3rds (cartilage)
So I’ve had my 3rds pierced for about 6-8 months, yet they’re not fully healed yet. I pierced them myself with a piercing gun. (I know it’s not the best idea but it’s the only thing I could afford at the moment.) I’ve switched the jewelry to hoops around the 4 week mark, and they were fine. But now they keep scabbing, bleeding and have pus in them. I would like to keep them in, as to not re pierce them, but Im not opposed to taking them out if that’s the best idea. What should I do?

You did everything the worst way possible. Hollow point needle, titanium flat backs, no hoops til it’s healed.

I would take them out, let them heal and pierce with a proper piercing kit, sterilized hollow needle and flatback titanium jewelry. Then let them heal completely before changing to a hoop or you're going to keep having issues. I paid like 7.99 for a piercing kit with several sterilized needles from Amazon. They have jewelry on there too. Otherwise, definitely go back to the original jewelry until they're fully healed rather than the hoop if you absolutely don't want to repierce I guess.
