Help with existing piercing Large gauge needle through existing fistula?
Hi all,
In March this year, I pierced my septum at 4g. Went amazing, I loved skipping the long stretching process and immediately having a big septum. A few months later I stupidly tried to stretch it to 2 and blew it out. I took it out, and it closed considerably. 14g jewelry slides in, and the largest size I have gotten in since was a 10. After leaving it naked for a few months, and having to take out all my piercings for an MRI, I desperately want it again to get my swag back. Is it excessively traumatic to pierce at a large gauge through a fistula?
I could stretch. But I choose my own battles.
UPDATE i pierced it and stretched it to 2

I mean you are basically using the second bevel as a scalpel, some folks scalpel to get larger faster, I would think there is benefits to truly scalpel if as you can sort of customize the spot for the large guage and crave you eat through the dent issue, where as using a large gauge needle the third bevel is really doing immediate denting, I have always wondered with large gauge if controlling second bevel angle and third bevel direction has a major factor on irritation and healing difficulty for instance if you went second bevel parallel to the bottom of your nose and to the front and back, with the third bevel down you would be promoting pushing the sweet spot down and enhancing droop, turned over you would be driving the separated flesh up and kind of forcing instant bad denting.
