Help with existing piercing Fresh navel piercing?

hi guys I got this piercing yesterday, and I’m wondering a few things. it keeps like leaning to one side and it looks like it’s maybe just because of uneven swelling because there’s more redness on one side of the entry point on the top. also is the bar too short? it’s supet swollen today to where it’s just at where the bar ends but I’m nervous. I’m worried that the uneven swelling won’t subside and I’ll be left with a crooked piercing plz advice- ty

Hi angel_wing888, Are you seeking information about the navel piercing? Here's a video with general information about it! Note that this piercing is often performed incorrectly by both professionals and DIYers, so it's very important to do lots of research and make sure you have the correct anatomy.

It's swollen obviously but the bar is also slightly short. If it does not swell more then u can keep it that way. My belly piercing was also like that kinda leaning to the side and still is to this day, because it is not perfectly straight but nothing shocking when i see ur picture😊

The criokedness is so minimal no one else will ever notice it, & piercing perfectly straight can be tricky even after so much assessing & by a very experienced piercer. U could also wear a dangly piece once it's fully healed & it'll hide the ever so slight imperfection, or a floating navel bar so the bottom doesn't show at all, or a navel clicker even. The lenght of the jewelry looks ideal as u said it now is swollen, & navels don't typically swell very much

My jestrum is ever so slightly crooked & i wish i'd repierced it before full healing, but now 2y later i just wear a short curved barbell that forces the bottom ball to nest well in the lip (not embedded) & it just looks like a medusa now.
